Story
Didi is a King Charles Cavalier, appx 4 yrs old. He loves toys and carry with them wherever he goes and he loves to sleep with them. He weights about 18lbs, loves to eat! He does fine with other dogs and is healthy overall. He does have dry eye condition that will require lifetime eye drops and bi-annual eye specialist visits to check on his eyes. The eye meds are about $150 every two months and the eye specialist visit is about a couple of hundred dollars per visit. The eye meds are helping him overall which is great progress! He does get nervous in car rides and walking outside but these are not major issues at all. Hes loving and likes to cuddle.

Story
We love twotwo sooo much. We need to rehome due to taking care of ailing parents out of country for an indeterminate extended stay. So far we have had her stay with friends when we travel or have someone housesit Her gotcha day was 2/22/22. She was born some time in November 2021 and we adopted her as a puppy. She is a mix of a shi tzu and cavalier. Within a few weeks in our family she was bit on her face. She healed quickly with minor dental with snagletooth smile. Since then she is super scared of other dogs and became more protective of myself and husband. She is trained. She will sit and do some commands. Completely house broken. He commands are sit, heel, leave it and free. She is great with people once she warms up. She can be left alone after walks and during work day without accidents Rarely ever sheds even when hair is kept long. Does get motion sick in the car. We give her otc medication when we go out roadtrips recommended by vet and works well.

Story
Buddy is 10 years old and sadly lost his human Mom a couple of weeks ago. He is very people oriented, sweet, gentle, fully vaccinated, house trained and leashed trained. He has one fatty bubble (lipoma) on his belly and the Vet said it does not pose a health threat nor does it need to be removed. Buddy would like to be the only pet in the house but would do fine with another dog in the household if the human is home a good bit as he would need reminders that he’s not the King of the Castle👼.

If you’ve ever heard someone say that dogs are therapy, spend five minutes with Cappy and you’ll understand exactly what they mean. His joyful spirit, friendly nature, and endlessly cheerful attitude have a way of brightening everyone’s day. People meet him once and immediately fall under his spell.   Cappy starts his day bright and early around 6 a.m. with a potty break and a short morning walk. After that, it’s time for breakfast followed by one of his favorite activities: fetch. He’s excellent at the “chase the toy” portion of the game, though he’s a little less enthusiastic about the “bring it back and give it up” part. His foster is fairly certain this is a deliberate strategy to make the humans do a little extra cardio.   Before his foster heads to work, Cappy gets another quick potty break, and then he settles into his very large wire crate for the workday. He has proven to be a total angel in his crate, happily snoozing the day away for 7–8 hours after being left with a treat.   When his person gets home, Cappy greets them with enthusiastic happiness and is ready for an afternoon walk. After that, he often accompanies his foster on outings—stores, parks, restaurants, and visits with friends. Cappy absolutely loves being out in the world. Every new smell is fascinating, every place is an adventure, and every new person is a potential best friend (especially if snacks might be involved). He’s so excited to meet people that he sometimes stays on “high alert” during outings because he doesn’t want to miss a single opportunity for attention.   Back at home in the evenings, Cappy enjoys a nice balance of playtime and relaxation. He loves plush toys and will happily entertain himself tossing them around before settling in for some lounging. It took him about ten days to discover that he was allowed to jump on the sofa— but once that realization clicked, he wasted no time making himself comfortable, even climbing up to perch along the back of the couch like a tiny captain surveying his ship.   At bedtime, Cappy’s preferred sleeping arrangement is the coziest one possible: tucked into bed with his person.   Personality-wise, Cappy is pure sunshine. He’s curious, bold, and adventurous, and he approaches the world with open-hearted friendliness. He greets strangers with enthusiasm and seems genuinely delighted to meet everyone. While he enjoys being near his person, he’s not a clingy Velcro dog. He’s perfectly content relaxing on his own when needed and handles time alone during the workday beautifully.   When he first arrived, he was friendly right away, but over the past couple of weeks he’s grown even more affectionate. At first he wasn’t much of a cuddler, but as he’s settled in, he’s begun seeking out pets and belly rubs more and more— and now he happily soaks them up whenever they’re offered.   One of the sweetest parts of Cappy’s day happens in the morning. When his foster begins to stir awake, Cappy quietly creeps up from the foot of the bed toward their face, patiently waiting for the moment they’re fully awake so he can begin the day with gentle morning cuddles. It’s a soft, sweet ritual that perfectly captures his loving nature.   Cappy enjoys daily walks and approaches them like the little adventurer he is. He does tend to pull on the leash because he’s so excited to explore, but he walks politely on one side and is easy to guide. He doesn’t bark at other dogs or chase squirrels, though he is very interested in greeting any canine friends he passes.   He has also been friendly with the dogs he’s met on walks and during visits with friends. He even spent an overnight with another dog and did well.   In the house, Cappy has made great progress with housetraining. Now that he understands the daily schedule, he’s pretty reliable and clearly prefers to go outside.   Cappy is also fully crate-trained and very comfortable relaxing in his crate during the day. He’s not much of a barker overall, though he will occasionally give a brief alert bark if he hears something in the hallway, a quick “pay attention to me” bark if he wants affection, or a cautious bark if someone unfamiliar approaches during nighttime walks. Most of the time, however, he’s a very quiet companion.   What truly sets Cappy apart is his spirit. Everyone who meets him instantly falls in love. There’s not an aggressive bone in his body— he’s simply a joyful, affectionate little dog who seems genuinely happy to be alive and part of the world.   His ideal home would likely be one where there are plenty of people around to appreciate his friendly personality—whether that’s a family or a household with multiple adults. He does perfectly fine being left alone during the workday, but he would also thrive in a home where he gets lots of walks, outings, playtime, and belly rubs.   Cap’n Crunch is the kind of dog who reminds you daily why dogs are so special. He’s funny, loving, adventurous, and endlessly charming. Life with Cappy means morning cuddles, enthusiastic greetings, plush toy play sessions, neighborhood adventures, and a constant little ray of sunshine by your side.March 7, 2026, 8:14 pm
