Adoption Fee: $800 Kiwi is a 5 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix who’s excited to provide a pop of flavor to your family fruit salad! Kiwi and his sister, Guava, were rescued from the shelter after Mom said “No” when Dad tried to surprise the family with puppies. We promised the shelter we’d find the best homes for each pup so they can live their best life! We are looking for individual homes for each puppy. If you’re ready for a taste of summer as fall arrives, meet Kiwi! Kiwi is an explorer who is looking forward to unlocking the ultimate treasure chest: your heart! This boy loves to play and adventure around the world around him (so far just the yard but he has big dreams)! Kiwi is super smart and food motivated, tackling all the puzzles and training sessions his foster mom sets out eagerly. Kiwi loves toys and would be thrilled to expand his toy pile in his forever home. He loves mini tennis balls and Lamb Chops most but will scamper after anything! Kiwi likes to cuddle when he’s ready for a nap but as soon as he’s rested, he’s roping his sister into playtime and zooming around again. Kiwi thrives on praise and it’s impossible not to coo over him, so it’s a match made in heaven if you ask us! Kiwi can’t wait to make you smile from dawn till dusk once he’s in your life! The puppies wake up at 7 AM and spend some time romping around the pen before they are ready for breakfast. They eat at 8 AM and then get their zoomies out for the next hour as their people get ready for the day. They have a short training session followed by some love and cuddles. Lunch is at 1 PM followed by a well deserved nap for a few hours. They often meet friends in the afternoon and delight in the extra attention. They get their dinner at 6 PM and then play a bit more until they are ready to unwind from the day. It’s hard work growing up as an adorable puppy, we get it! After lots of snuggles and cuddles on the couch, they head to their pen around 9 PM and drift right off to sleep. Kiwi gets along well with dogs of all ages and sizes. The puppies are crate trained and potty pad trained. They will require homes ready for the training and socialization that comes with puppyhood, but their foster mom has given them a fabulous base of training. If you’re ready for a loving and loyal new furry friend, you won’t find a cuter option than Kiwi! Unwrap this adorable little fruit today and adopt Kiwi! Kiwi is only an option for homes that have owned a dog of their own in the last 5 years. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7.October 7, 2024, 6:37 pm
