If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Cinnamon, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. Even though I am from a puppy mill, I am friendly and happy. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. Story
This debonaire and wickedly handsome boy is called Kloki.  He is said to be a King Charles Pekingese mix and at 4 years and 18  pounds, this boy is ready for a new home where he can King of  his kingdom and can get all the love and affection.  He has had some upheaval in his life recently and his forever first owner is living with people who have other pets which Kloki is not a fan of.  His loving owner cannot live on his own right now so he is sacrificing this loving dog to go to a home where he will be the only pet and the only creature that is the center of the person’s world.  He is housebroken, crate trained and he is not the happiest boy since the move.  He would sit on your lap all day long if you let him.  Are you wanting the love of a really small dog and a promise from you that you will see him through for all the years to come in his life!?  He is sweetly handsome and desperately needing a new place in life.  If you are interested please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Tell us where you live when you write us the email. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 26, 2024, 2:09 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!Hello we are 2 fun loving little girls who had to start over.  Our family didn't have a lot of time to spare for us so we were crated a lot.  Our dad decided we deserved better so he brought us to the ranch.  At first we didn't know what was going on but then we made friends with the Director and this place is REALLY cool!!!  We NEVER have to be in a crate and we are never alone!!  There are always plenty of humans around and lots of fur friends and we have this big fenced in field that we LOVE!!!  We like to run and play ALL day!  We don't leave each other so the Director said not to worry she would NEVER split us up and she will make sure we only go to someone with a fenced yard that will enjoy having us running around :)If you think you might be a good fit fill out an application and if we think we should meet you we will be in touch for a 'date' :)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.   A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!July 23, 2024, 8:06 pm

My house training is going well and I am spending less time hanging out in my crate. I am very playful and LOVE playing ball. I even roll the balls around with my paws and chase them. I can even pick it up with my mouth and toss it around. I am a quick learner. I have almost mastered "sit" and "lay down." My foster mom is still working on leash training with me. 06/27/2024 - UPDATE - I have been in a foster home for a little over a week. My foster parents say that I am really sweet, but I am still very timid and spend most of my time hanging out in my crate. Although, I am making progress. The other day, I walked out of my crate and rolled over for belly rubs! It was great! I have had only one accident in the house so far so my potty training is really going well. My foster parents don't even close the door on the crate, but it is my safe space so I do go hang out there. My foster parents are teaching me how to walk on a leash, but right now, I still like to pull. I do not like other dogs and should be the only dog in the house. My foster parents have dogs, and I really don't like them so they keep us separated. I can't wait to find my new forever home where I am treated like the princess of the palace. Can you help?
