If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Tracey, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I am a real love bug. I am very excited, energetic and love attention. When I get too excited, I make a little snort sound. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. My name is Brandy, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. Most puppy mill moms leave the puppy mill around the age of 6 or 7. Unfortunately, I was there for longer than most. I am more than ready to enjoy my retirement. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. The CSAC volunteer said that I was a little bit more outgoing than most puppy mill dogs and I should come out of my shell very quickly. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. Story
Sir Chester (AKA Chester the Fester) is a family pet. He’ll be 10 years old November 30th but is still a puppy at heart. He loves to roll on the sidewalk when the weathers nice and will do laps if he has a big yard. Requires a lot of attention and loves to sit in a lap. He’s a very calm dog that will stay by your side on your good and bad days. He loves meeting new people and enjoys going on walks. Although he has a sensitive stomach, he loves to eat bananas any chance he gets. Looking for someone to give him the love and attention he needs as he gets older with a yard for him to explore. Also someone who will give him plenty of cuddles.

Story
To learn more about Indigo, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Indigo was surrendered from a commercial breeder. She was no longer wanted, and had no place to go. Indigo deserved better, so we opened our doors and hearts to change that for her. She is an adorable, special little dog who has endured quite a lot on her way to the safety of Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation. She is looking for a family with abundant patience, love, and an understanding of her needs to help her be a wonderful companion - and your best friend forever. She would especially enjoy the company of another dog to show her how much fun being a part of a family can be! Indigo is new to Lost Dog and is still getting acquainted. Story
If you’re looking for a dog who brings cheddar energy to every room he enters, look no further than Cabot—a 12-pound poodle-terrier mix with brown spots, a love of toys, and a heart as big as his collection of squeaky things.Cabot is around a year old and fully embracing his puppy era. (The shelter aged him at around 3 years old, but both the rescue and vet suspect he’s likely closer to 1 year based on his puppy-like behavior, energy, and teeth.) He’s sweet, snuggly, and full of silly charm. He hasn’t mastered everything yet (like walking on a leash without turning into a spaghetti noodle), but he’s trying his best, and he lives for treats and praise. He`s not just food-motivated—he`s food inspired.Cabot’s Skills Highlights Include:?? Spreading toys across your entire living room like a tiny decorator?? Jumping like a kangaroo with zero spatial awareness?? Snoozing happily in his crate, especially after a full day of mischief?? Making instant besties with every dog he meets—he lives for doggy playtimeCabot is still working on leash training and thinks “sit” is more of a suggestion than a command. But give him time, structure, and a pocket full of snacks, and he’ll catch on in no time. He’d love to have a playful dog sibling to show him the ropes—and help burn off his boundless zoomie energy. While he’s still figuring out this whole “being a dog” thing, he’s nailing the part where he melts into your lap for cuddles.?? Dislikes: vacuums, loud surprises, and anything that interrupts his squeaky toy time? Likes: treats, toys, more toys, dogs, people, walks, and being told he’s a good boyCabot is looking for a patient, playful, and toy-rich home where he can grow into the amazing pup he’s clearly meant to be. Bonus points if you enjoy puppy kisses and don’t mind the occasional indoor potty mishap—he’s working on it, promise!Ready to add this lovable little goofball to your pack? Cabot can’t wait to steal your heart (and maybe your cheese). If you’d like to take Cabot home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $350 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DH

Story
Meet Snowball and Widow, an adorable bonded pair of small adult dogs looking for a forever home together! Snowball is a sweet and snuggly Pekingese who loves soaking up attention, while Widow, a playful Dachshund/Spaniel mix, is all about toys and fun. They’re both affectionate lap dogs, housebroken, and crate trained. This duo is very playful with each other and shows lots of enthusiasm when meeting other dogs on walks. They have a positive history with kids and have done well with cats, though slow introductions are recommended. Widow can be a bit shy at first but warms up quickly—especially if toys are involved! If you're looking for a pair of loving companions, Snowball and Widow are ready to steal your heart.
