INTRODUCING FRANCO….fondly known as “Franco American Spaghettio” !! This tiny, mostly black with a white goatee and crest on his chest, under 5 lbs, 1 yr old Maltipoo (yes, there are black Maltipoos) is VERY petite, sweet, gentle, kissy and extremely affectionate. His kisses come to you at warped speed and he just loves being snuggled. Franco came to us so matted that he weighed in at over 6 lbs, but once he was groomed, he is just a speck of a pup! He is underweight and so we are trying to fatten him up just a little — a little tooooo skinny!
When Franco arrived, he was having accidents and we came to find he had a parasite, which has since been treated; and he is now healthy, active and a joy to have around. No accidents in the past week, but we never guarantee at your house. One thing we can tell you is he doesn’t lift his leg and sometimes stops in the middle of his walks, which he loves, and does his business! He is very quiet and does not suffer from separation anxiety — but he does love to be with his people. He is good with other dogs — doesn’t really know that he is only the size of a blink — but you have to be careful that other dogs don’t trample him!
The ideal home for this wonderful pup would be one where he gets a lot of attention and gets to go everywhere with you. While he doesn’t have to, he bonds very quickly and we believe that would be his heart’s desire (and ours!) He would be good with older, gentle, respectful kids — and will be happy to play, lay and cuddle! We can’t say enough about this angel. Does he sound like he might fit into your pocket and go everywhere with you? He probably would not be happy in a senior home 🙁

Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Our event is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring pictures or video of your home and yard if we have not done a home check (preferred)! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
