THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION INTRODUCING DUNCAN….a sweeter than sugar, ~10 lb, white, 2-3 yr old Maltipoo, who hailed from the Moreno Valley Shelter. We didn’t get a back story on him, but one thing we know for certain — Duncan LOVES to have a good time! He will play with you, dogs, probably cats and anything that will play with him. He makes the cutest little squeaky sound with glee instead of barking when he is playing! He is just adorable when he does pattycake on his hind legs and tries to engage his foster buddies! In other words…Duncan is a very entertaining, happy boy!! The one thing about Duncan is he is very busy and needs exercise, so we believe he would be best in an active home with kids (over 5 yrs old), a yard and a family who pays a lot of attention to him. Training should be on his forthcoming agenda, as you don’t want him to bolt out of the front door thinking that this is part of the game!! He’s a good eater and really lovable. The cutest thing about him, and there are many….is he kisses every dog he meets!! He loves to jump on your lap and kiss you, also! He would love to join you for sporting events or brunch or anywhere you will take him!! Story
Daisy is a lovely almost two year old Maltipoo who was dumped at a Los Angeles city animal shelter by her owner with horribly matted and damaged fur and encrusted eyes, fearful and scared and snapping to defend herself and barking to appear strong. She is also very underweight underneath all that matted fur. We can only imagine what she must have been through. Currently Daisy is being assessed and treated by the vet and will be examined, get a fecal, urinalysis, blood test, be clipped and groomed and cleaned and her eyes medicated until they heal. She will also be handled and rehabilitated so she won't be afraid anymore and try to bite to defend herself. New photos coming soon. SIMON – Help & Sponsorship SIMON is a Maltipoo. A very sad story.... his mom lost her house due to foreclosure and brought him into the city shelter. She was crying and he was crying when she left him there. He was with his human mom since he was a small pup and is very sweet. SIMON is not so good with children or young teenagers. He has a little pink on his nose, loves to be held, and he needs a calm environment. He is very sweet, but very shy and timid. We have discovered that, like so many small pups abandoned at the pounds, Simon has not had any veterinary check-ups—possibly ever—no tooth exams, anal or ear exams, or blood panels or urinalysis done. So he needs lots of veterinary work and diagnostics. He is neutered however and current on his vaccinations. SAMANTHA – Help Needed-Currently Sponsorship SAMANTHA is a Maltipoo, and a little larger than a Maltese. She is good only with cats who are used to dogs as she will want to play. She is fearful of dogs larger than herself or are aggressive even in a playful way, so should never go to a dog park. She is not that good with lively, active children or young teenagers. SAMI is around 8 or 9 years old and we saved her from the pound in pretty run-down condition. Currently, before being adoption-ready, she needs a complete blood count and urinalysis, quite a few tooth extractions with sutures, and a deep cleaning of all her teeth and gums. She also needs surgery for a mass that needs to be removed but is not malignant (biopsy was done). She has had a complete exam which is how the mass was found. SAMANTHA has a cute little underbite and loves to cuddle and play with her toys. SAMI is spayed, and current on her vaccines. Fun, Friendly, And Such A Happy Girl....Meet Tali! This lovely little girl is Tali and she is a 3 year old, 17lb, Maltipoo (Maltese/Poodle mix) with maybe a touch of Schnauzer. Whatever she is...she is such a cutie! Tali came to us when she was found abandoned on the scary streets of Tijuana. Thankfully, an amazing rescuer we work with out there found her and got her to safety. She reached out to our foundation and asked if we could take her in and we said yes! She is happy, playful, fun, energetic, and full of love! Tali definitely needs another dog in the home that will play with her or she could be adopted with one of her friends in our rescue. A home with a safe and secure yard would be ideal as she loves to run around and do the zoomies! Owners that are not gone long hours during the day would be ideal. Tali had a rough beginning to her life so we promised her that we would find her the best forever home out there! Tali is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
