Meet Hershey, a 5 lb, 2-month-old poodle mix who is as sweet and lovable as his name.
Hershey’s story begins with his mama, Lowlaa, who was an unspayed owner surrender from Compton. By the time she arrived at Shelter Hope, Lowlaa was already pregnant. She gave birth to her beautiful litter in the safety and comfort of foster care, and now little Hershey is ready to start his own journey.
Hershey and his sister have grown up surrounded by love, and it shows. They are incredibly sweet and love cuddles and giving kisses. Hershey is the more affectionate of the two, always happy to snuggle and show love. He is playful, confident, and curious, never afraid to explore. He also loves zooming around like a little whirlwind and enjoys chewing on bones or squeaky toys to his heart’s content.
Despite his playful energy, Hershey is also a total cuddle bug at heart. He is fun-loving, affectionate, and full of personality, making him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a fun, loving little dog.
Hershey is vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find his forever family!

If selected, our rescue counselor will contact you to schedule a phone interview. Please monitor your email and spam folder for our message. Adoptions can happen quickly so be prepared for our call, only apply for dogs that every family member in the home wants, and wait to apply until you return from your vacation.

Due to high demand, especially for popular dogs, not all applicants will be contacted. Moreover, we may not reach out if we have already approved a family to adopt. The process can take several days. Thank you for your patience!
