Meet Niko! Niko is a 4-year-old, 15-pound pup with a sweet soul and a love for the outdoors. He gets very excited for walks and would happily go out multiple times a day. He can easily walk up to two miles, making him a great companion for someone who enjoys staying active. Niko can be a little shy when you first meet him and will benefit from some gentle socialization. Once he feels comfortable and builds trust, his affectionate side really shines. He becomes a wonderful snuggle buddy who loves being close to his people. He is potty trained and does well with both dogs and cats. Niko would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of love, attention, and patience as he continues to gain confidence. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion and are willing to give him the time he needs to come out of his shell, Niko could be the perfect addition to your family. No apartment living No out of state adoptions

Story
Sandi is a 7-year-old terrier mix that we adopted from Baja Dog Rescue in 2019. She is spayed, professionally trained, and very loyal to her people. She loves spending time outside, chasing lizards in the backyard, and these days is just as happy relaxing in the sun taking naps.Sandi is protective and territorial, so she does bark at strangers or activity around the house, but she responds well to her training and commands. She is great with other dogs but would do best in a home with adults or older children who understand dogs and boundaries.We want to be fully transparent that Sandi is anxious around small children. We believe she may have experienced abuse before we adopted her. She has shown aggressive behavior toward little kids in the past, although she has never bitten anyone. Because of this, we believe the safest and best fit for her would be a home without young children.
