Meet Chiquita Chiquita is a gentle 10-year-old, 12 lb poodle–schnauzer mix with the sweetest heart. Her world was recently turned upside down when her beloved owner passed away. Through all the changes, Chiquita has shown nothing but love and a longing to be close to people. She adores cuddling, curling up in laps, and simply being near those who care for her. Chiquita has spent most of her life outdoors, so she isn’t fully housebroken yet—but she is eager to learn with patience and kindness. She currently lives peacefully with two other dogs and would do well in a home with furry companions or as the center of someone’s attention. This little soul has so much love left to give. All she needs is a safe, gentle place to call home and a family who will cherish her for the rest of her days. Diesel is a 5-month-old pit bull mix. While his exact breed is unknown, we were informed by the Humane Society that he may have Labrador Retriever in his lineage. He is a sweet, energetic, and affectionate puppy who enjoys playtime and thrives on attention. When excited, he may jump up to engage, as he is eager to interact. It is with great sadness that we have decided to rehome Diesel due to a severe allergy within our household. This was a difficult decision, as we intended for him to be a lifelong member of our family. Diesel is potty trained but will benefit from continued training. We have not observed him around other animals or children, as we have kept him separated from our baby. Like many puppies, he is in a mild nipping phase. We are seeking a loving, responsible home that can provide him with proper care, attention, and training.
