Must live close in to RI This supports all rescue dogs for vetting, foods and whatever they need. We are all volunteers. Bentley is a 3-4 year old CAVAPOO, a mix of King Charles Cavalier and a mini poodle. The Cavapoo is a highly sort after small dog. Bentley ate well at his previous home and he is now overweight at 20 lbs.. They must have given him people food because he is a picky eater for dog food!! Bentley gets along with people and dogs and will be joining our rescue Saturday night, Sept 5 and we will have a lot more to say soon. Right now he has had a lot of changes in a weeks time and needs some chill time. He is an owner surrender as they no longer could take care of him, he was neutered and fully vetted, recovered in our foster home in Arkansas, where there are a lot of dogs, and then put onto our rescue transporter for the long ride up to Rhode Island. We would like to get him settled into his forever home ASAP, so don't delay and file the application so you can meet him. OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss . The dog will be in Rhode Island for a meet and greet. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families. If you can provide a FABULOUS home please file our free application (see link above) and tell us why we should let you adopt our wonderful rescue. The more you tell us the better picture we have of the home you can provide for our rescue Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. If you have already applied in the past, then please send us a message with your name and what dog you are now interested in being considered for and we will pull off the server. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. potty trained and will whine when he needs to go out and stand by the door. He is also crate-trained. He likes when we take him to the dog park, and he is also so friendly that he is always under the impression that every dog wants to be his friend and every human love's dogs. So, when it comes to boundaries, he is still learning. I just switched his food today since he has been picky. He was using Science Diet, then Puppy Chow, and now Nature's Recipe Grain-Free Salmon, Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Recipe Dry Dog Food. He is up to date on vaccines as far as I am aware. He is good on a leash when directed, since he is a puppy; sometime he needs proper coaching. He currently lives with 2 cats and completed puppy training course so knows basic commands such as: sit,stay,lay down, come, leave it, take it, drop it and he loves swimming.
