**Special Adoption - Maci is in our special adoption program which provides additional counseling to set dogs up for success in their new homes. Maci is a nervous dog who will need decompression time to feel safe in her new home. She benefits from being around friendly, playful canine companions. She requires a home with a "helper dog," a resident dog who can help her feel at ease and show her the ropes in her new home. If you are interested in her, please complete an adopter’s profile at parl.org and email cshamgochian@parl.org** Say a soft hello to Maci. She’s a little timid and nervous, so she really appreciates quiet voices and space to feel comfortable. Maci came to us recently after her family was deported, it’s a lot of change for her and she’s still adjusting to her new life. Maci is very sweet, tolerant, and gentle with people. She is not house trained and can be nervous on leash. Maci has done well with cats and benefits from being around a playful, friendly, and social canine companion.

Introducing Nachuro! 🐾❤️ Nachuro is a 5-month-old Maltipoo and he is as adorable as they come. With his soft, fluffy white curls, bright little eyes, and the sweetest face that always looks like he’s smiling, Nachuro has a way of instantly melting hearts. His fluffy ears bounce when he walks and his tiny teddy-bear look makes him almost impossible not to scoop up and cuddle. At just 9 pounds, he’s the perfect little pocket-sized companion. He has the happiest, most affectionate personality and absolutely loves being around people. Nachuro greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and that signature little smile. He’s playful, friendly, and always ready for fun, whether it’s romping around with toys or just hanging out by your side soaking up attention. Nachuro does great with kids, cats, and other dogs. He’s a smart little guy who is already crate trained and doing very well with house training. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find a loving forever family to call his own. 🐶💛
