Our little Princess is called Itsy (as in itsy bitsy) and this little 5 pound girl is a tiny little force of a senior girl. A Poodle Pom and true to both breed mixes, Itsy is smart, alert and active even though she is about 10-12 years of age. She is brave and curious about exploring her new found freedom as she is no longer in a kennel in the garage of the former owner. Her owner became ill and had many dogs and other farm animals that she is having to find homes for. Itsy was put in a 8X10 kennel in a heated garage with many other small breed senior girls. She was never handled much the last few years and she is now learning how to relax and accept the cuddles of her foster mom Lori. Right now when in a new place she does tend to look for escape routes. Itsy is slowly learning to trust after 6 days but you can see that she is going to be such a sweetheart once she totally bonds with a new owner. She is getting used to cuddles and being held. We are doing a full senior workup that includes all shots, heartworm test, microchip, dental and bloodwork panel. She is already spayed and for that we are grateful she doesn’t go through that late in life. She is really in perfect health and quite spunky and mobile. China is so intelligent and easy to love! She's a former working girl who was retired over the summer. The breeder states that she had two litters over the years China was in her care. Our rescue group worked with her on social skills and her anxiety about not being in a kennel on a daily basis. See, kennel life was all she knew and you could feel the vulnerbility she felt being exposed to the world without the protection of bars. She has acclimated well with the other dogs in the rescue loves the attention she gets from her foster mom. This little girl has a spunky side to her. When she is happy she will race around the yard doing zoomies. It's quite a site to see when you witness the joy on her face as she embraces the freedom of the grass underneath her feet and the wind in her face. She also likes to go for car rides! China loves to eat and eating treats is her absolute favorite past time. She is crate trained, so her routine is to play outside and when it is time to come in she goes right into her crate and waits for a snack. It's very easy to train her, since she is so food motivate. In spite of her love for food, she weighs only 32 pounds. A great size for apartment living, or a small house. She is also potty trained! Optimally, it would be in China's best interest to go to a home with a relaxed environment. She responds favorably more to women than men, although she has she great improvement around our foster's husband. It is also important that applicants understand the importance of doodles being groomed about every 6 weeks and brushing them is important to their hygenic routine. She is fully vetted and has been recently groomed. Her vetting includes: spay, microchipped, heart worm negative test, UTD on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $650 and this covers the cost of transport from Arkansas to New England. ##2219993##

This little gem is an owner surrender by a breeder. She has never had a litter and is now spayed, microchipped, had all of her core vaccinations. At only two years old and very playful. Gets along great with other dogs, cats, and loves affection from people. Alicia is freshly groomed, weighs 22 pounds, and makes a great size for apartment living. She will need to be groomed about every 2 months, since she does not shed. She's crate trained and we are working on potty training. Her new family needs to continue to work with her and have patience. Currently she is being fostered in Arkansas, but transport is available to New England. Found on the streets with one of the worst cases of matting we’ve ever seen, his hair was so long it touched the ground. Sadly, neighborhood kids threw rocks at him as he ran through the streets, terrified and alone. It took an experienced trapper to safely bring him to our facility, where he arrived shaking and too scared to be touched by anyone. However, with time, patience, and care, he has blossomed into a wonderful companion. He now enjoys daily walks, loves being pet, gets the excitement zoomies, and gets along well with other dogs. He is a laid-back boy who especially gets excited for his leash time, happily joining other dogs on walks. He seems to be potty/house trained, as he will wait to use the bathroom when he gets walked. Fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, this sweet poodle is ready to find his forever home. His adoption fee is $300. Marley weighs around 20 pounds.
