Story
Jax is a kind, loving, and protective little dog with a big personality. He’s a small pup with lots of energy, and he absolutely adores attention. One of his favorite things to do is curl up and sleep under your bed — that’s his little safe spot! I got Jax about two hours away from KCMO when I was a senior in high school, so he’s very special to me. As he transitions to a new home, I’m really looking for someone who will love him, be patient with him, and understand that he may need a little time to adjust. Jax does have a protective side. He can be a bit vocal — barking or growling when new people come close to you — but he has never bitten anyone. He just takes his job of protecting his person a little seriously. With kindness, consistency, and a calm environment, he settles in well. I want him to go to someone who is gentle, patient, and good with dogs — someone who can give him the care, stability, and affection he deserves.
