Story
This is Koa. She’s 7 years old (DOB 1/28/19). We adopted her when she was a puppy and has been with us her whole life. She is a herding dog and tends to nip but has never truly bitten anyone or broken skin. However, we have a 3 year old in the house and are worried for our daughter’s safety. Koa really should not be trusted around kids but has been fine around other dogs and cats. She really is the sweetest dog though just has a bit of anxiety and is very protective. There is a picture of the DNA test we did when we got her. She is spayed and microchipped. House trained, knows commands, and has an awesome recall. She is up to date on her rabies vaccine. We think she would do best on a farm or at least somewhere with land. We are planning on keeping her until we can find the right home. Eliot is a special little boy. My husband and I adopted him from a shelter two years ago, and he’s been a sensitive soul ever since.He’s a sweet, playful dog, almost 2½ years old, who loves walks, toys, car rides, being outside, and snuggling with his favorite person. He’s very smart and has worked with a professional trainer and a therapy dog owner to help build his confidence. He also takes anti-anxiety medication.Because Eliot is timid, he’ll do best in a quiet home with a patient, gentle person who can give him the love and reassurance he needs and who lets him move at his own pace. He prefers a calm environment with few visitors and no other dogs. Once he trusts you, he’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, and loves to be babied. He deserves a home where he can truly be someone’s little prince.
