Here is what you need to know about this wonderful girl: 🏡 The Basics: Fatima was found as a stray and brought to us by our friends over at Thomas J. O'Connor. Because she was a stray, we don't have any background history on her, but her resilient spirit shines through! 💖 Personality: She is incredibly social, loves to run around, and absolutely adores greeting new people. ⏳ Adjustment Period: Fatima is going to need some extra time and patience while she adjusts to her new home and her new people. Given that time and space, she will surely be your new best friend! 🩺 Senior Care: She is a mature lady with some age-related changes that our staff would love to talk to you more about before adoption, just to ensure she gets the best care possible. ✨ Come down to meet Fatima today—she is ready to meet you! Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You’ll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter. (Dogs in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you’re ready to adopt without meeting the dog first, or you’d like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a dog for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org. We are often helping other clients when you call, but we return voicemails and emails within 24 hours. **Holds are not available for puppies under six months, on Saturdays, or during adoption events. -------------------------------------------- All adult dog adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies and kennel cough vaccinations - heartworm test -current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -microchip implanted & registered to adopter -treatment of fleas & ticks -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days of adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your pet.
