CharlieAstro, is a King Charles Spaniel/Poodle mix. Age: 1 year 5 months. Weight: 25 pounds. Rescued from an elderly lady who had him for a year then developed health problems. Lived in a small, cluttered two room apartment and used puppy pads. He barked at all strangers as she rarely had visitors. Still barks often at strangers, delivery people, walkers by and our visitors. When house is quiet, will calm down, cuddle and give us kisses. But he is very active and loves to run and jump. Has never bitten but backs away from strangers and growls at them when in the house. Brought him to PetCo and Home Depot with no problems so issue likely protecting his home environment. He plays with our male Cocker Spaniel but a little too rough at times and the issue may be jealousy/competition. Housetraining is progressing but not totally there yet. I feel in the right situation with some patience, socialization and training, he will be a great dog for someone.

Sally is a petite and delightful girl with a soft, velvet-like coat that's beautifully marked glacier white accented with red patches. She has a sparkling, glowing personality and absolutely adores everyone she meets, from children to seniors, as well as other dogs and her best friend is a big cat named Vincent!! She is currently with her foster family in Kentucky and is ready to bring a smile to her future forever home. Sally is current on all vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on Frontline Plus for flea and tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $875. Once adopted, she will arrive in the New England area via a pet transport. If you are interested in adopting Sally, the first step is to complete an adoption application. Morticia knows what she likes - being in laps and getting attention. While she is a little timid around new people, she warms up quickly when she feels safe, and while she definitely has her favorite staff, she enjoys attention from most humans when she's comfortable.OTHER PETS: Morticia met two dogs of similar size; she was avoidant of the more energetic dog and sniffed the more relaxed dog though would bark if it approached her too quickly. She would be absolutely thrilled to be an only dog and the sole recipient of human attention in the house, but may get along with a relaxed, well socialized dog that communicates well. [Case-By-Case (Must Meet First)]OWNER EXPERIENCE: Experience with positive reinforcement or willingness to learn. Morticia sometimes gets mouthy when overexcited, she would do best with someone who has experience helping redirect dogs with appropriate toys and activities while keeping interactions happy. [Some Experience] KIDS: Morticia loves spending time in laps, but sometimes her aim is a bit off and she crashes into faces/shoulders when jumping into them; she is also able to jump up on tables when she desires to. Morticia enjoys being in laps, is comfortable with handling and playful with people and toys. She would likely get along with most humans and should meet any minors she would be living with prior to adoption. Interactions with minors should be actively monitored to keep everyone safe. [10+ (Must Meet First)]ACTIVITY LEVEL: Morticia's first and foremost desire is to be with her people or walking next to her human. A combination of regular exercise, learning new tricks, and plenty of mental enrichment such as food puzzles and games, will help fully meet her needs. [Couch Potato / Good Walking Buddy] VETERINARY CARE: [Routine] GROOMING: Daily brushing will keep Morticia's fur clean and matt-free, some owners opt for ear and feet trims to ensure that those longer hairs does not tangle into matts. [Regular Brushing] LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Positive reinforcement will help Morticia bond with her new owner and build confidence while learning new skills and fund tricks.
