Story
Gordo will be 12 years old on June 11. He is sweet and loves to cuddle. He has had the same owner since he was a puppy. We have a 3 year old and 1 year old. When our son was born, he was indifferent to him but mostly enjoyed playing with him. Now I think in his older age, he is frustrated and doesn’t know how to interact with them. He frequently nips at them and has bit them when they walk past with food or if they startle him. He is always sweet with adults, but with his older age he is bothered and upset by toddlers. I think he would be happy with children in middle school, but not with young children. When we are out on walks, people often mistake him for a puppy. He is full of life and very energetic but he is clearly showing signs of aging specifically in the way he interacts with young children.

Joy came into my life to be a companion for her sister, Lua, and they bonded from day one. They are deeply attached to each other and must be adopted together. Keeping Lua and Joy together is my biggest wish.Joy is pure happiness in dog form. She has beautiful, soulful eyes and a personality that fills a home with love, laughter, and joy. She loves affection but prefers to choose when it’s time for cuddles, which makes those moments even more special.She is the smartest dog I have ever known. At first, she can be a little shy, but once she feels safe, she gives her whole heart and becomes incredibly loving and loyal.Writing this breaks my heart. I am going through a difficult chapter in my life, and I have to think about what is best for them. My hope is to find a loving family who will cherish Lua and Joy and keep them together forever.

She loves cuddles, lap time, attention, and even enjoys bath time. Lua is incredibly smart and full of personality. She has funny little habits that make everyone smile and a loving nature that makes her easy to adore. She truly is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever known. Making the decision to rehome her is heartbreaking, but out of love, I know she deserves a home that can give her the stability and attention she needs. Lua has a sister, Joy, and they are deeply bonded. They have spent their lives together, and my hope is that they can be adopted as a pair so they can continue sharing the love and comfort they give each other. I’m looking for a kind, responsible family who will love Lua and Joy as much as I do. ❤️

Bruce is a 6-year-old, 35-pound neutered Cavapoo who has been a beloved member of our family since he was a puppy. He is affectionate, loyal, intelligent, and happiest when he is with his people. Bruce loves to cuddle, play fetch, carry around plush squeaky toys (especially after chewing off the ears!), learn tricks, and be involved in everyday life. He is house-trained, well-behaved in the home, comfortable being left alone, and has successfully attended both daycare and boarding. He knows sit, stay, come, leave it, high five, roll over, and even enjoys playing hide-and-seek.Bruce would do best in an adult-only home or one with older children who can respect his boundaries. He has some anxiety and leash reactivity in busy city environments and currently takes medication to help manage this. We believe he would thrive in a quieter suburban or rural setting. Due to safety concerns with our toddler, we are seeking a home where Bruce can be happy, comfortable, and successful.
