Story
This is Ruby 💕 She is a very sweet, affectionate, and food-motivated girl with a big personality. Ruby loves cuddles, being outside, and having room to run — she is fast, strong, and full of energy. Ruby is house trained and kennel trained, and does very well with both. She is not spayed. My husband and I both work long hours in healthcare, and unfortunately we haven’t been able to give Ruby the time and consistency she needs for training. She is a bit hard-headed and hasn’t picked up basic commands as quickly as dogs we’ve had in the past, which is something we truly feel is unfair to her without the proper time and attention. Ruby would thrive with someone who has experience training dogs and can continue working with her using structure and patience. Because she’s still learning how to control her body and excitement, she can be rough around small children — not aggressive at all, just overly enthusiastic — so she would do best in a home with older children or adults.

Story
We adoped Snickers 8 yrs. ago as a puppy. They said she came from Arkansas. My opinion as an old farm boy, is she was generations feral. When people ask her breed we call her an arkansas feral. My opinion (not professional) is she is part Rat terrior and Border collie. Very active and exicitable. She has always nipped a little as part of her personality and I worked hard to train her. While she is truly a lovable dog and Funny, She requires an expierenced dog person. She not good for walking as she gets unrully when other dogs come around. She gets along with our cat, so I imagine she acclamate to other animals. We need to surrender her, as shes getting more aggressive as she ages. Mostly with young children (Alpha nature) She has not actually bit anyone. We finally came to this conclusion Because of our special needs grandchild, Benjaman, who loves her and has no fear or understanding of boundries. We have been keeping her seprate weeks now and it is un-sustainable. Thank you!

Story
I am urgently seeking a new home for my dog Chalupa. She is a nearly 10-year-old, ~65-lb mixed breed I’ve had since she was a puppy. I am a veterinary oncologist and she has been very well cared for; she is healthy for her age with only mild arthritis. Chalupa is sweet, affectionate, obedient, and smart. She lives well with two cats and generally gets along with other dogs (especially small dogs). She is anxious by nature and does not do well with unpredictable toddler behavior. Unfortunately, she has bitten my young child twice despite working with a behaviorist, so she must go to an adult-only home with no visiting children. I’m looking for experienced owners who can provide a calm, structured environment (a quiet home or farm could be a good fit). Due to safety concerns, I’m working on a limited timeline. Please message me privately if you seriously meet these criteria. Thank you.
