Story
Kane is 5 yrs old. He is the sweetest dog ever. Gets along with pretty much everyone and everything. Has never shown any signs of aggression. We simply have not been able to give him the life he deserves ever since having a baby and currently have another otw. Both mom and dad work full time and recently rehomed his sister with family, so he’s constantly alone now. Although we sincerely hate to see him go, we just feel it’ll be selfish to keep him from a family who can give him a better quality of life for the short time they do have with us. Hoping to find a calm family or human for him. Preferably with older kids if need be, as he is a big dog and doesn’t know his size so he’s a jumper. He’s not up for much exercise but he does love dog parks, other dogs and being outside (and eating).

Story
Meelo is an almost 2 year old pup with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. He's incredibly affectionate with his people and loves being wherever the action is. He's crate trained, house trained, and knows a number of basic commands. Like many adolescent dogs, he can become distracted in exciting environments, and will do best with a family that can provide regular exercise. He can be reactive to other dogs, unfamiliar people, and passing cars while on leash, so his future family should be prepared to continue building his confidence with patient, positive training. He has a history of gastrointestinal issues but that has been managed with prescription grade food. His next family should plan to continue with this style of food. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family, and it was made solely because our life circumstances have changed significantly since adopting him.

Story
Meet Beau! Beau is a sweet, sensitive little guy who is looking for a special human to help him come out of his shell! Estimated to be around 4 years old, Beau is listed as a Maltese/Poodle mix with the softest, silliest scruff you’ve ever seen. He is a gentle soul who takes a little time to feel confident in new spaces, and he is looking for a quiet home where he can follow a predictable routine and settle in at his own pace. While being away from his humans can feel a bit scary for him right now, he is making awesome progress with his crate training and is learning that his crate is a safe, cozy spot where he can relax. When it comes to other dogs, Beau is very social, but he gets so enthusiastic about canine friends that he can struggle to settle and focus on himself. While his ideal scenario for settling in is to be the only pet in the home so he can soak up all the attention and build up his confidence, he could potentially do well with another dog if his adopter is dedicated to setting structured boundaries and continuing his training. Beau would also do best in a calm home with adults or older, dog-savvy teens who understand that trust takes time. Beau is still a work in progress with his potty training and anxiety, so his ideal adopter will be a patient partner who loves using positive reinforcement and consistency to help him build independence. He might take a little extra patience at first, but the reward is a devoted, cuddly, and deeply loyal companion who just wants to feel safe and cherished. If you’re looking for a sweet, scruffy best friend to shower with love, Beau is ready to meet you!
