Story
Ollie was given to me as a gift. I wasn’t in the market for a pet at the time as I was going to have Open Heart Surgery 2 weeks later but my daughter in law gave him to me and insisted she would help as I recover from surgery! As I did, Ollie was a fussy eater. He wouldn’t eat dog food at all. Of course I didn’t have the heart to let him go hungry. I fed him white chicken meat and tried to substitute vitamins with some treats. My recovery was difficult and just about when I did actually get to a place where I was able to walk I would take Ollie for walks and try to keep him active. Unfortunately around that time my husband became deathly sick and passed away last September. Now I have to sell my home and move into a rental which will be difficult with Ollie. He has gained too much weight from his eating habit although I understand I was the problem but with my life turned upside down it was easy to give him what he would eat. I need to re-home him. I’m sad but healthy is best!
