Story
Winnie had been our loving pet for the past four years, and has been a great pet to me and my husband she is pretty low maintenance and energy in terms of daily care. She is house trained and crate trained. She loves going on walks and hikes and lounging at the end of the day with her people. She doesn’t chew human things but loves a good bone or kong or playing with her toys. She is good with some dogs, unknown about cats and no children. Unfortunately she has shown some aggression towards our son who is a year and with a baby on the way we no longer feel like a good home for her. She has a bite history as well which I am happy to share with potential adopters. She really is a great dog and with the right person or couple I think she could be and make someone very happy.

Story
I adopted Echo as a rescue from Louisiana in 2017. She is a lab mix and definitely more of a people dog. She loves the water and playing fetch. Echo is currently 9 years old and is in excellent health. She does have some anxiety with loud noises but does well on her own. Due to my pending divorce I am unable to support her needs and know she won’t do well in an apartment.

Story
Luna is a sweet girl who gives out as much love as she gets. She is 11 years old, turning 12 in July, without any medical issues. She has lived in the NH countryside, Boston, and the suburbs. She loves walks (does very well on a leash) and her age hasn’t slowed her down much. She has lived with a cat, but she’d prefer to be an only pet. We have 2 small children and Luna appreciates her space and has shown aggression towards the children at eye level. Luna has a previous history of disliking men. However, my husband was able to earn her trust after many walks and feedings. We wish we could keep her, but unfortunately she is no longer happy and safe at our home. She can only go to a child free home.

Story
We are looking to rehome Duke to reduce our expenses. He is bonded with his partner Duchess as seen in the photos and they are rescues from Arkansas. He and Duchess have to stay together. I will not split them up. They are extremely close and very good with each other. Their actual birthday is unknown, but the Vet estimated 2018. We received them in January of 2021. I have to post Duchess separately only because there is no option to post them together, but they will have to stay together. Duke is probably an American Bulldog mix and supposedly came from the same litter. He doesn't like his nails trimmed so I taught him how to scratch his front claws on a sandpaper block, and it works pretty well. He supposedly has a chicken allergy. He is friendly with adults and a good friend.

Story
We are rehoming Duchess to reduce costs. She is bonded with the white dog in the pictures Duke. Duke has been posted for adoption separately because there is no option to adopt as a pair. We received them as a pair in 2021 as rescues from Arkansas. They have to be adopted together I will not separate them. The vet estimated their birth year as 2018. They are very close and very good with each other. They are good with adults and are good companions.

Story
Callie is a 3.5 year old spayed female, pitbull mix. Very energetic and affectionate. We have had her since she was a few months old and are heartbroken to have to rehome her. Sadly, she has bitten guests at our home twice and has bitten our other dog several times. Usually this behavior occurs when she is excited/over-stimulated. She loves her humans and prefers to be around us as much as possible, definitely gets anxious when we leave the house. We crate her when we leave the house to curb anxious chewing. Callie loves cuddling, playing outside, and food. She has lots of energy and love to give, but requires some patience and attention. We feel Callie would best succeed in a home without other pets or young children, but with humans able to give her ample time & attention

Story
Meet Boone — a one-year-old Bernedoodle who is the dog equivalent of a big floppy teddy bear, but a lot more animated!  Boone is a spirited 75-pound boy who has no clue how big he is. He loves everyone he meets… maybe a little too much. Boone has not quite learned all of his manners yet and is looking for a forever home that can work with him on some simple but important skills. He’s already a wonderful dog. He just needs a little polishing.  Like many poodles and poodle mixes, Boone is very smart and eager to please his owner. He is fully potty trained and not destructive. His first family loved him very much, and he has been well taken care of since they got him at 7 weeks old. He just turned one on April 28.  Boone is looking for an active family who can take him on walks. He also loves a good car ride! A fenced yard and a doggy playmate to get out some of his energy would be an added bonus. He’s used to being with his person most of the day, so we would prefer a home where someone is home a lot of the time. Boone’s forever family should also factor in the cost of having him groomed — he needs it about once a month.  Please apply for Boone if you can provide this big loving teddy-bear dog the forever home he deserves.
