Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Betsy is a very sweet breeder release girl in search of her forever family.  She loves all that this brand-new life has to offer. Snuggling on the couch next to her foster mom is one of her favorite things to do. Betsy is working hard on her housetraining.    ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences. Confident resident dog in the home preferred.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly. November 12, 2025, 9:16 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet Lexi was so terrified when she first arrived to SFCR but has made such great progress while in rescue.  Lexi came to us from a very unfortunate breeding situation. She will need a patient family willing to give her the time she needs to acclimate and feel comfortable. Lexi relies on the other dogs in her foster home for confidence and they've helped her significantly.  She is crate trained and doing well with housetraining.   ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences. Walking on a leash/harness is still very much a work in progress. Confident resident dog to help Lexi build confidence and learn what being dog is all about. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Susie is a darling little cavalier in search of her forever family. She is still a bit hesitant about receiving human touch and affection but is slowly learning that it's not meant to be a bad thing. Susie loves the other dogs in her foster home and mingles well with everyone. She is working hard on her house training. Susie does not show any evidence (heart murmur) of MVD at this time, but it is something to be aware of for all cavaliers.    ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences. Susie needs a confident resident dog in her forever home to help show her the ropes and boost her confidence.
