ROCKY - Sweet Charming Boy

Labrador Retriever Retriever (Unknown Type)

Male, 1 yr 6 mos
Vancouver, BC
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Hi there! My name is ROCKY. What’s yours? Nice to meet ya! I am in Houston, TX. I am posted as a transportation destination in numerous cities across the U. S. If you are within driving distance, can you come to Houston to pick me up, please? If you need me to travel to you, I can do that, too! I promise you won't be disappointed. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? I definitely need a house with a fenced-in yard cuz I need room to run and romp and be safe! The rescue requires (1) a fenced-in yard for ALL of its dogs and (2) an Excellent, already-established vet History on a current or previous dog. We would call your vet once you have filled out an application. You don't have to produce vet records beforehand. I am a Labrador Retriever mix, my vet says. I am 1.5 YEARS old and I weigh 68 pounds. I have been neutered and am up to date on vaccines so I'm ready to go to my new home with YOU!! Wanna hear some more good stuff about me? OK, here goes. Here's what people who know me say: He's absolutely the cutest and sweetest dog and would make an awesome addition to any family! He's super easy going and likes to follow you around to see what you are doing. He brings so much joy to everyone around him, and we're hoping to find him a special person or family so he can bring them as much joy as he brings to others! He likes dogs and kids. (See his photos - one with a child and one with another dog.) We haven't tried with cats yet so not sure. He is potty-trained, crate-trained and walks well on a leash. He knows how to sit and lay. We are working on other training skills like stay/heel, and to not jump when people arrive. He's just so excited to greet everyone but doesn't touch them. He just jumps out of excitement.... and gives amazing hugs!!! Will you teach me all the things a young doggie needs to know to be safe and happy? I take treats nicely and I ride nicely in a car. I'm a young and active boy so, if you have human kiddos, they need to be a tad older. I don't want to hurt anyone but I might, accidentally, knock over a toddler and I don't want to do that! Since I was rescued, I like to take naps when I'm tired from playing. I need love, exercise and couch-sitting when we get tired! Let's be a team, OK? If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email and they can get me on my way to a new and loving home!

Labrador Retriever Great Dane

Male, 7 yrs 2 mos
Vancouver, BC
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Good with kids, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
This dog is located in Houston, TX and is available for adoption to this area. The adoption fee covers the transport cost as well. Sebastian is a super sweet, happy-go-lucky boy. He is approximately 6 years old. He is moderately active and loves ALL people. He is a major goof ball and is very playful. He was part of an effort to reduce a population of stray dogs in a rough part of Houston where a large group of strays were developing. Rescues came in and pulled a bunch until there was just Sebastian and another dog we think is related somehow. He was very nervous and in rough shape when he first came to the rescue. He had a huge scar on the top of his head that we think he was hit with something at point. He was very thin and had hair loss and was suffering from tons of intestinal parasites, heartworms, ear infections and untreated skin allergies. He is now completely healed, heartworm negative and on a special diet that has gotten rid of the skin issues and ear issues completely. He is now a very healthy boy who would love a forever home. He is nervous with new dogs and does much better with female dogs if they give him time to warm up to them. He is very playful and LOVES toys. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and current on heartworm and flea prevention. Please email for more info or an application. All our pups are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention. Our adoption process starts with an application and a vet reference.
