Meet Maple!
A little Cider, a dash of Spice, and everything nice… meet CIDER, SPICE, and MAPLE!
These three gorgeous, red coated possible Lab mix puppies are bringing all the cozy fall vibes, and we are absolutely SMITTEN! With their beautiful coloring, precious little faces, and personalities as sweet as their names, these babies are already stealing hearts left and right.
But their journey to us hasn't been quite as warm and cozy as their names might suggest. When Cider, Spice, and Maple arrived at one of our partner shelters, they were terrified. Shut down, unsure of their surroundings, and overwhelmed by the world around them, these sweet babies needed something they hadn't yet found: a safe place to land.
Thankfully, these three recently made their way into our care and into loving foster homes, where they're slowly discovering that the world isn't nearly as scary as they once thought.
And little by little, we're seeing the most beautiful transformations! Every day, these puppies are growing a little braver, becoming more comfortable with their surroundings, and letting their sweet personalities shine through. Those little moments of curiosity, confidence, and trust might seem small, but for puppies who once found the world so frightening, they mean EVERYTHING.
Since Cider, Spice, and Maple are still fairly new to our care, we're learning more about their individual personalities every day. What we DO know is that these babies are as sweet as can be and have so much love waiting to be shared with their future families.
Of course, they're still learning all the important puppy things, too! Potty training, house manners, routines, and understanding how to navigate life in a home are all works in progress. And because they're still a little timid, they'll need families who understand that patience, consistency, and gentle encouragement can make all the difference.
These puppies don't need families who expect them to be perfect from day one. They need families who will celebrate every little victory, encourage them through their nervous moments, and show them just how wonderful being loved can be.
We can't wait to watch Cider, Spice, and Maple continue blossoming into the happy, confident dogs we know they're capable of becoming.
Their stories may have started with fear, but we're determined to make sure the rest of their lives are filled with love.

*PLEASE NOTE*
- All adoptions are handled on a first come, first served basis and require an approved adoption application. If you’re hoping to adopt at the event, we highly encourage you to submit your application ahead of time! Be sure to include all required records and documentation to help streamline the approval process and make your adoption experience as smooth as possible.
- We host adoption events almost every Saturday from *11:00 AM to 2:00 PM* around the Fort Collins community!
- NOT all of our dogs attend our adoption events. If there is a specific dog you are interested in meeting at the adoption event, please email aaaradoptioncoordinator@gmail.com to see if they will be attending.
- Photos, information, age, breed, size, medical status, behavior, and adoption fee are all subject to change as we get to know them. We will continue to update their profiles with information and photos to better represent them!
- We are a foster based rescue and do not have animals at our office.
- We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better, it takes time to review and approve applications!
