If you know Chessies, you know they’re smart, energetic, and deeply loyal, and Ricochet is no exception. He loves people, loves having a job, and loves being part of someone’s day.Shelter life has been stressful for him, and he’s doing everything he can to stay upbeat, but after 7 months with little to no interest, we honestly don’t understand why he’s still here. He’s handsome, fun, eager to please, and ready to give his whole heart to the right person.Ricochet previously lived with another dog, but due to the stress of the shelter environment, he will need to be the only pet in the home. What he wants most is a person who will play with him, guide him, and then let him curl up in their bed for snuggles after a long day.Ricochet has been deemed Potentially Dangerous in Maryland due to repeated incidents of running loose, barking, and behaving aggressively toward other people and dogs. We accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal & Credit Cards for the adoption fee.      About LNF Dogs/Puppies: All dogs and puppies have undergone temperament testing. They live in foster homes. They are housebroken (puppies are paper-trained) and crate trained. They have been microchipped for identification purposes. They have been tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, and Lyme disease. Each dog is on year-round Heartworm medication while in the rescue's care. They are up-to-date with Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, and Leptospirosis vaccines. They have been wormed. Adoption Fee: The adoption fee includes 30 days of FREE pet insurance, with an option to purchase additional coverage. The rescue strives to provide the best medical care to ensure the health of the dogs, including spaying or neutering. Adoption Requirements: A minimum physical fence of 4 feet in height is mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may require a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence, as noted in their profiles. We got rip two years ago as a puppy. And he is a beautiful sweet dog with humans. He just cannot be around other dogs. We have other dogs and we have had to keep them separated. Today he actually went after my other dog and its with a very sad heart we have to find him a new home. He is too big for our one story home and very small backyard. Like I said he is great with humans but just doesn’t like other dogs. He would be a great hunting dog. He really is so precious and loving. We will miss him so much.

Bella is a wonderful, sweet, and playful dog who loves attention, pets, long walks, and patrolling her yard chasing birds and squirrels. She is VERY affectionate and adores our three children. The issue that is causing us to find Bella a new home is that she has recently started to not get along with our other dog, a very docile and submissive Golden Retriever. Bella is the sweetest dog that I have ever owned. She is loyal, loving, and always up for fun. She would be the perfect dog for a family in which she is the only dog in the house. We have had 3 cats live with Bella during her time with us and she has gotten along with them great.
