Mo is a fluffy sweetheart who’s struggling with city life after his family moved from the country to a busy apartment. All the noise and activity just isn’t his style, and he’d love to find a calmer home where he can relax and be close to his people. Mo is a big-time cuddler who loves adults and does well with older, sturdy kids. He’s house trained, knows his basic commands (sit, stay, come, lie down), and is happiest just hanging out with his humans. He may do best as an only dog, and because he has a bit of a prey drive he’s looking for a home without cats or small dogs. Mo can get anxious when left alone and has been taking Prozac to help with the stress of city life, but a quieter environment may make a big difference for him. Also, don’t leave him alone in a fenced yard — he’s been known to hop a fence to come looking for you! Think you might be the peaceful home this loyal boy needs? We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Meet Scout! This handsome chocolate boy is about a year old — a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Irish Terrier mix. Scout was pulled from a rural shelter and is now fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Scout is a good boy who just wants to play, play, play! He's great with other dogs, and he seems like he may have lived in a home before — he's comfortable both indoors and out. Whether she’s splashing in the water, running trails, chasing toys, or making new friends, Dingo is happiest when she’s busy and included.
