Story
Fall in love in February. For the entire month, all dogs and cats are only $14.00! So with an approved application, you can take your new Valentine home. Lucky is a male Labrador Retriever mixed doggy who is about 4.5 years old. He was surrendered to us with his friend Mustang after their owner passed away. Lucky is sweet and sensitive and can be a bit nervous at first, so needs a little time to feel safe and comfortable. Then he shows off his loving and gentle nature. He is dog selective, so careful introductions are important. He would probably do best with older children who can respect his boundaries. He is described as a 'Wallflower'. Shy yet charming canine searching for a patient owner with a relaxed lifestyle. Looking for gentle guidance to help me come out of my shell. Treat me sweet and kind and I’ll blossom. (Internally motivated). It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction. All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young). Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies. . Cats will be vaccinated against feline distemper and feline parvo, and have been wormed. . All animals will be bathed and treated for fleas/ear mites. Microchipping will take place at the time of adoption. Adoption fees: Cats - $105 for one or only $150 for two! Dogs - $155 For more information on this animal contact washingtonpawsandmore1978@gmail.com or call 319-653-6713.
