Story
Meet Pippa! Pippa is absolutely adorable with the cutest eyes and a heart full of love. She's always up for whatever the day brings and is incredibly affectionate. Pippa adores other dogs and would love a home with a canine companion. She has a gentle, introverted personality and is both goofy and snuggly once she feels comfortable. Pippa is a true cuddle bug who enjoys naps, cozy time, and being close to her people. She loves meeting both people and dogs and quickly wins hearts with her sweet nature. Pippa loves snacks and already knows how to sit. She walks well on leash and is continuing to gain confidence each day. She's curious about the world, though loud noises can sometimes startle her. She's also not a big fan of baths-but we forgive her! Pippa would do best in a home that gives her reassurance, patience, and plenty of snuggles.

Story
Clifford and siblings were part of unwanted litter that were surrendered to a shelter. A very common story for a lot of the dogs we have... We want to find Clifford a home so that he never has to feel unwanted again! He would make a great pet as he is great with other dogs and loves to play.

Story
Hi there! I’m Tamiko, but my friends call me Kiki — because every royal deserves a nickname. 👑 When I first arrived at my foster home around 4 months old, I was a shy little lady. But fast forward to today, and I’m a confident princess ready to find my forever castle (complete with belly rubs, snacks, and toys, of course). Speaking of toys… I might be a bit of a collector. Okay fine, I’ve claimed every single toy in the house and created my own royal treasure pile. I sort through them daily — a girl’s gotta make sure her kingdom’s in order! I live with two foster brothers (ages 7 and 2) and absolutely adore playing with them. I love all dogs — big, small, goofy, or chill — and would thrive in a home with another furry friend or two. When meeting new people, I’m the total opposite of shy now — I’ll flop over for belly rubs and gaze up with my big brown eyes until you melt. I’m smart, treat-motivated, and my sniffing skills? Let’s just say I could moonlight as a detective. 🕵️‍♀️ Whether it’s snuggling by your side, claiming the pillow as my throne, or keeping watch from my dog bed, I’ll be the most loyal (and entertaining) addition to your family. Ready to meet your new royal sidekick? Pick me, Princess Kiki! 💖

Story
Robert is a total goof that’s all legs, love, and laughter! This 8 month old lab mix may seem a little derpy as he’s growing into those long legs of his but he’s actually quite intelligent! Robert catches on to things quickly and has already learned a handful of commands including “sit”, “(lay) down”, “shake”, “spin”, “wait” (used before meals and treats, “ok” to release), and “gentle” when taking treats. He also knows “come” and is working on mastering his recall. He’s working on “stay” and learning that the command “enough” during play means we’re done. He can be quite mouthy when he wants to play, so he’s learning to use his “off switch” when it becomes too much. Robert lives with other dogs (big and small) in his foster home as well as a couple cats and gets along with everybody. He’s a snuggler…and a bed hog! He’ll take up the entire bottom half of the bed all night long and insist he’s the only reason your feet are warm! Robert is crate trained and knows what “kennel up” means. He’s (mostly) house trained and will stand by the door when he needs to go out if you catch his cue in time. Like your typical lab, he loves water and playing fetch! Robert has the best puppy dog eyes and truly wants to please his humans. He’s going to make someone very lucky! Robert’s adoption fee is $425 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations appropriate at the time of adoption, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue’s care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are.
