Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Sweet Annie wants a family My name is Annie. I am about 4 years old and weight about 56 pounds. I was attacked by another dog, and now I am a little afraid to play with them. I love to play tug o war, and with toys. My favorite is a big red ball.. I will need a little training not to pull on a leash, but I ride nicely in a car.  Love to go bye bye! I am very housetrained.   I want a home SO badly, and would love one with a fenced yard, someone to be near while we watch tv, and sleep at night. I am fine as an only child as long as there is lots of attention.. I would do best in an adult home as an only child. If you might be my forever new family, Please email k9kids4adoption@gmail.com for an application, and tell us a little about the home you have for me, where you are located, and a phone number would also be nice....I am waiting. $150 adoption fee, and donations are needed and appreciated. An approved a Application, a great home with a fenced yard, is required....
