Story
Located in Washington and ready to meet you! Some puppies bounce into every room like they own the place and want to welcome everyone. Moose is more the kind of guy who quietly wanders over, leans against your leg, and somehow ends up stealing your heart before you even realize it's happened. Sweet, easygoing, and wonderfully balanced, Moose just has such a gentle, warm presence. You'll see Moose and his buddy Bean together in their YouTube video, but each puppy is available for adoption separately and has their own happily-ever-after waiting to be written. https://youtu.be/q1gapY4Hcks Estimated to be around 6 months old, Moose looks very much like he could have some Chesapeake Bay Retriever mixed with perhaps a little Pit Bull, though as with all rescue dogs, his breed and age are simply our best guess. Whatever combination created him, the result is one incredibly lovable young pup with a rich chocolate, curled coat and an even sweeter personality. Moose has a refreshingly easy way about him. He's playful because, well, he's a puppy, but he isn't the nonstop, go-go-go type. He enjoys romping around with his canine friends, loves the water, happily joins in when the fun gets started, and is just as content settling down once playtime is over. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and carries himself with a thoughtful, gentle nature that makes him an easy companion. People are pretty high on Moose's list of favorite things too. He's affectionate without being demanding, happy to soak up attention, and has the kind of calm confidence that allows him to take new experiences in stride. He's simply a nice dog. The sort that quietly fits into your routine and then hits you with those gorgeous heart eyes the second you look down, giving you the sweetest moment of love, the one we all seek when choosing a dog to live life with. At around six months old, Moose is still very much a puppy and will benefit from all the fun things that come with raising one, including continued socialization, basic training, and plenty of opportunities to grow into the incredible adult dog he's already showing every sign of becoming. If you've been looking for a puppy who is playful without being overwhelming, friendly without being over-the-top, and wonderfully easy to love, Moose is exactly the companion you've been waiting for.
