Meet Rose: Your Strong, Loyal Best Friend Rose (yes—he’s a boy, but the name stuck!) is a beautiful, sturdy Great Pyrenees–Labrador mix with a striking black coat and a bold, playful personality. He came to us with Bruno Mars, and while they share a background, Rose brings a completely different kind of energy. 💛 Personality & Temperament Rose is: ✨ Sweet, affectionate, and people-loving ✨ More energetic and playful ✨ Confident, strong, and expressive ✨ Highly food-motivated and eager to learn He walks well on leash and is very trainable, especially with treats. Like many Lab mixes, he’s intelligent, energetic, and bonds closely with his family. [thesmartcanine.com] ⚠️ Important Notes Rose: Is NOT suited for livestock homes (chickens, goats, etc.) Can be more rambunctious and reactive with animals Is best placed in a structured, attentive home We do believe he can: ✅ Do well with dogs ✅ Be fine with cats (with proper introduction) ✅ Thrive in a family environment with people and kids 🐾 Ideal Home Rose would do best with: An active family or individual Someone who can provide structure and engagement A home where he can be a primary companion He is: 💙 Loyal 💙 Loving 💙 Full of personality And above all—he just wants his person. 🌟 His Potential Rose would be great as: An ESA dog with the right guidance An active family companion A loyal, fun-loving best friend With consistency and love, he’s going to grow into an incredible dog. 🌹 From Our Hearts Rose is strong, beautiful, and full of life. He may be a little more spirited—but that just means he loves big. We’d love to see him in a home where he’s understood, guided, and deeply loved. 🐾 Adoption Info (Both Dogs) Available for foster or full adoption Can go separately or together (preferred but not required) Both are sweet, well-socialized, and ready for their next chapter

Story
🎤 Meet Bruno Mars: Your Gentle Companion Bruno Mars is a sweet, easygoing Great Pyrenees–Labrador mix (on the smaller side for the breed, under ~35 lbs) with one of the calmest, kindest temperaments you’ll find. He came to us as an owner surrender alongside his sibling, and from the moment he arrived, he’s shown nothing but softness, patience, and quiet loyalty. 💛 Personality & Temperament Bruno Mars is: ✨ Super chill and docile ✨ Gentle with everyone he meets ✨ Safe and respectful around animals ✨ Affectionate and people-focused He has never shown aggression, even around farm animals, and carries himself with a calm confidence that makes him easy to be around. This mix is known for being loyal, friendly, and great family companions—and Bruno Mars absolutely lives up to that. [labradorandyou.com] 🐾 Lifestyle & Potential Bruno Mars is incredibly versatile and would thrive in: A peaceful family home with kids A relaxed companion environment A farm setting, where his gentle nature can shine He does not have strong guarding instincts, and instead leans more toward: 💙 Companion dog energy 💙 Emotional support potential He would make an amazing ESA (Emotional Support Animal) thanks to his calm, steady personality. 🐶 Ideal Home Bruno would do best with: A loving family or individual Someone who wants a low-drama, affectionate companion A home that appreciates his gentle nature He could live with other animals, but more than anything, he just wants to be: 👉 Someone’s safe place—and have one of his own 🎤 From Our Hearts Bruno Mars is the kind of dog that quietly changes your life. He doesn’t demand attention—he just deserves it. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who will always be by your side… Bruno Mars might be your perfect match. 💙🐾

Story
Meet Beaux! Your Future Movie-Star Foster Dog 🎬🐾 If you’ve ever wanted to live with a celebrity, Beaux is your guy. He looks and acts just like the lovable goofball from Marley & Me, but he carries himself with the dapper charm of Comet from Full House. A gorgeous Labrador/Golden Retriever mix, Beaux is an absolute sweetheart who is ready to star in his next big chapter. The Ultimate Water Dog: Beaux is a true aquaphile. His absolute favorite place in the world is lounging on the top step of a pool, and he would thrive in a home with a pool, a pond, or humans who love water sports. The Perfect Blend of Chill & Goofy: He walks beautifully on a leash and has a super relaxed, sweet demeanor. Like any true Lab mix, he’s a bit of a foodie and will try to eat anything—he recently decided a pair of shoes was a snack! He is crate-trained and potty-trained, but because of his goofy curiosity, he does best when safely crated when left alone. A Brave Survivor: Beaux has a poignant backstory; he was rescued from the woods after a rough start in life. He was heartworm positive when found, but thanks to a dedicated independent rescuer, he has successfully completed all of his treatments! He is fully up-to-date on all vaccines, flea, and heartworm preventatives, and is currently scheduled for his neuter surgery. Future Career Goals: Because he grew up in the wild, he requires a secure yard and can still get a little spooked by loud cars or bicycles on walks (his signature move is to sit down and politely refuse to budge). However, he is incredibly intelligent and trainable. Beaux is actually a pilot pup for Allegory of Allegra’s upcoming Emotional Support Animal (ESA) training program! He will soon begin his Canine Good Citizenship journey. https://sanctuarydogs.lovable.app/adopt https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZQqP1dBLiJ/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== 💬 About our adoption fees: As with all of our purebred or specialty-breed owner surrenders, rehoming fees may reflect the general market value of the breed as well as the medical care, time, and resources invested in each animal. Any portion of the rehoming fee beyond our standard adoption cost goes directly back to our sanctuary to help fund food, medical care, and rehabilitation for other rescue animals who may not have the same adoption demand. Our goal is always to ensure every animal receives the care they deserve, regardless of breed, background, or market value ❤️
