Story
Meet Boone! Boone is a handsome black Lab with a heart full of love and a brain full of tennis balls! This sweet pea is the total package: crate trained, housebroken, and ready to bounce his way into your life. He’s got zoomies in his soul and a goofball spirit that’ll have you laughing every day. Boone lives for a good game of fetch and will chase a tennis ball like it’s his full-time job (with benefits, of course—belly rubs and treats preferred). When he’s not on the move, Boone is all cuddles and charm, leaning into you for pets and giving you those classic Lab eyes that say, “You’re my whole world.” Boone is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. You can meet him at the CASPCA between the hours of 12 and 6 PM daily, no appointment necessary. If you have any additional questions, please email adoptions@caspca.org.

Story
Hi there, my name is Churro... Although I am grateful for the SPCA and the kind people that take care of me, it is still not a place I can call home. I would much rather have a family of my own that I can share my love with. Unfortunately, new faces make me a little anxious.. and here, there are always new faces. Sometimes they stare at me and smile, while others won't even glance my way. I’ve noticed I feel a little more at ease around women because their voices are softer and their energy is gentler. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to trust men too... I just need time. I fantasize about finding my forever home! I think the best moments in life would be the quiet ones — just you and me, maybe a blanket, maybe a movie, definitely snacks. Oh, and walks? I love them — but I’ll be honest: if I see another dog while I’m on leash, I might bark or pull a little. It’s just my nerves talking. I’m working on it with the nice humans helping me out. I’m learning that I don’t have to be afraid. Well anyways...that's a little bit about me. I am also neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on my vaccinations. I am being fostered at the moment so email adoptions@caspca.org and we can set you up with the foster family to coordinate a time to come in and see me!
