Nessa is still waiting… and we can’t figure out why She’s just under a year old, about 30 lbs, and won’t get any bigger—basically the perfect size for any home. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, great with dogs, cats, and kids, and so easy to care for. She’s sweet, smart, and just wants to be near her person (without being clingy). Truly one of the easiest, happiest dogs we’ve ever had… and yet she hasn’t had one single application. Not one. If you’ve been waiting for the perfect dog—this is her. Nessa is it. Meet Elon! Elon is a sweet 1.5 year old Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix weighing about 18 lbs. This boy came from a severe hoarding situation, so the world is still a bit overwhelming for him. He’s learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family — and he needs someone willing to take that journey with him. Elon is very food motivated and that has been a huge help in building trust and working on training. He is not fully housebroken yet, but we are actively working on it. Like many small dogs, he can be a little stubborn, so patience and consistency will be important. He does wonderfully with other dogs and cats and actually seems to take comfort in their presence. He will approach his people on his own terms and has already started to show glimpses of his gentle, affectionate personality. With time, love, and understanding, Elon will continue to bloom. If you have a quiet home, a kind heart, and a desire to help a deserving pup find his confidence, Elon may be your match. Teddy is a 12 week old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix that is ready for adoption. We are sharing the picture of Teddy and his brother, Thor we were sent from the shelter our rescue puppies come from. This is the day they were surrendered. Teddy is microchipped, neutered and has had three puppy vaccines. If you would like more information please text only to Ann Brown at (423)505-1714. Our puppies are rescues from a high kill county shelter. We do our best to determine what breed they are. Sometimes when they are owner surrenders the breed is known, but this can still be a guess by the surrenderer. You may look and see something different than we do which is perfectly fine. What we do know is that each one is 100% rescued.
