Story
Fawn is an amazing girl. She has been here over a year and is used to this environment, so when people come to meet her she wants to run away. If you are looking for an amazing companion who truthfully has no bad habits or behaviors, you could even say she is "the perfect dog", then Fawn is your girl. She just needs someone who understands this and is willing to give her some time to get to know you. She has been in a foster home and did amazing. The foster mom says she is super sweet, loves affection, she is housebroken, she is not a barker, she has very good manners. and she loves to snuggle. She is very good with other dogs. She is a great companion for a single person or a couple, even an older aged couple or single person. She is looking for a home that is calm. She just needs someone to love her and introduce her to a happy, doggie life. If you’re ready to open your heart to Fawn, she’s waiting to become your loyal companion. Together, you can create a world filled with love, cuddles, and happy adventures! She just needs a chance to show you how amazing she is. Adoption fee includes: Spay, All vaccinations are up to date, and a microchip. If you have current pets we do allow a two week trial period for $50. This allows us to make sure that the animal will fit in with the resident animals.  Come meet me!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Drop-In (Without an appointment) Satruday from 11am to 3pm.  We are closed Sunday and Monday.     Countryside Rescue is open Tuesday - Friday 11am to 3pm by appointment only.Appointments can be made by calling 707-542-5582 or emailing countrysiderescuesr@gmail.com.  Please ensure that you receive a confirmation of your appointment before arriving to ensure we are properly staffed for your visit.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Please complete our online applicationat  : https://forms.gle/PGmGoo2ZoBEtU4D18   ##1861024##

Story
Sweet Pea faced a challenging start in life. She was pregnant and came from a hoarding environment with terrible living conditions. Having never been socialized, she is completely fearful of strangers. Trust does not come easily to her. However, she has begun to warm up to those who care for her. She enjoys giving kisses to your hand and becomes very excited when she sees us, but that’s where her comfort level ends. Her desire for affection is clear, yet her capacity to accept it is limited. She requires someone who is patient, understanding, and willing to provide her with the space and time she needs to build trust, and hopefully, one day, allow the warmth of affection to touch her. Adoption fees include: For puppies:  First year's vaccines, including Bordetella, microchip, and deworming.                                                                                                                                                                          Adult dog:     Vaccinations are current, microchip, dewormed and spay/neuter.                                                                                                                                               If you have current pets, we offer a Foster to Adopt Program, in which you have a two week trial period to make sure the animals get along, it's a good fit, and your beginning to bond.                         Countryside Animal Rescue is open Tuesday - Friday 11am to 3pm by appointment only.Appointments can be made by calling 707-542-5582 or emailing countrysiderescuesr@gmail.com.  Please ensure that you receive a confirmation of your appointment before arriving to ensure we are properly staffed for your visit.Drop-In (Without an appointment) Satruday from 11am to 3pm.  We are closed Sunday and Monday.                                                                                                                                                Please complete our online applicationat  : https://forms.gle/PGmGoo2ZoBEtU4D18   ##1952596##

Story
This delightful mix of Chihuahua and Terrier is on the hunt for her forever home. Skye can be a little anxious around unfamiliar faces and finds new situations quite daunting. She might hesitate initially, but with some patience and time, she'll adapt to her new surroundings. Once she realizes she's found her forever home, she'll flourish into a wonderful and playful friend. Skye is happiest when she's with other dogs. She's looking for a devoted companion who values gentle introductions. If that resonates with you, Skye could be the ideal match for you! Story
We've named her Cola (short for Charcola), and she is currently the most entertaining dog at LTR. Cola loves to play, and takes her role as adopted mama to 5 younger puppies very seriously. She also helps with the farm chores, which we love. Cola's floppy ears bouncing around in the grass are the cutest things. It’s a miracle she’s here with us. First she was given away on Craig’s List and then kept for 4 months in a safe but isolated place where she didn’t even have a name. Cola is nervous around new people but we’re working on this and she’s improving daily. She loves our volunteers and frequent visitors and we love her back. At approximately 6 months, Cola weighs 9 pounds, so we guess she will be around 14 pounds full-grown. She’s gorgeous, intelligent and tons of fun.

Story
Our amazing Bartholomew came to us while he was at death’s door. He was painfully thin with severe dental disease. We could not touch his head, not even his ears, he was in so much pain. We’re not sure how old he is but we’d guess between 10-12 years (and about the same number of pounds). We neutered him and fixed his mouth. The infection was terrible but he recovered quickly and started to eat almost immediately! Now he’s a legit ranch dog! He comes out to feed the goats, horses and pig every morning and night, he plays, and then runs back to the house. Truth be told, he’s a bit arthritic and stiff so “play” and “run” are relative in this regard but he does the cutest gallop and sometimes his back end goes faster than his front end but he always manages to stay upright and he always knows where his foster mama is. Bartholomew loves to sleep in bed with his human and the other dogs, but he’s also content to sleep in a cozy bed on the floor. He can’t get up and down from the bed on his own so he will need his own “staff” for lifting, etc. Bartholomew’s transformation in our care has been nothing shy of spectacular. He is pure love inside and out. His coat went from sad and dull to shiny and vibrant. His personality has always been charming. If you’re looking for an older gentleman to brighten your days Bartholomew is your man.

Story
Coco is a 2 year old pomeranian/papillon. I am looking for a new home for her because she needs a home that she can run loose in. (We keep our 3 dogs in a playpen when in the house and let them free in the fenced backyard. She whines frequently in the playpen) She is super sweet and loves anyone who will give her attention. She loves meeting people and dogs. Never seen her with a cat so I'm not sure about that. She will give you kisses all day long. Knows sit and I'm sure she can easily be trained to do other things if you wanted to do that. Very eager to please and loves all treats. I would love to keep her she is amazing but I want what's best for her. She deserves someone who will let her roam the house and sleep with them. Better yet she loves to go in the car. She just wants to be with you always. You will fall in love with her immediately. If you can provide her with the time she yearns from you, let's get in contact. Bonus if you can send updates on her afterwards.
