Story

I rescued Prince about a year ago. He was trembling in middle of a abandoned lot. He would hide and would not let anyone near him. He was able to out smart traps until finally after a month of trying i was able to catch. At first he was very aggressive towards unknown humans . Now after being in a loving environment and daily dosage of prozac he is ready for adoption. he is good with other dogs and likes to go out and be in your arms. He is very loving and affectionate with his owners and fearful without aggression of strangers. He needs home with alot of compassion and patience

Story

We found Beau in the parking lot at my job in May 2024. He was skinny, hungry and scared. A home was lined up for him, but it fell through, and we couldn’t leave him there, so he came home with us “temporarily” and has been with us ever since. The vet estimates he’s about 8-9 years old. He’s a quiet, gentle, low-energy guy who loves being around people he trusts. Once he knows you, he wants to be near you. He still gets nervous in the car and shakes on rides. He’s house-trained, up to date on vet care and preventives, and was recently neutered. Beau seems very bonded with our other dog, CC, a 4-year-old Cavalier. He follows her around and licks her face. For his sake, we’d love for them to go to a home together. Ideal home: a calm household with someone home often, patience while he warms up, and room for both dogs. Words that describe him: sweet, quiet, gentle, loyal, a little shy.
