Loki is 9 y/o and plays like he is still a puppy. I adopted Loki from the pound 4 years ago and he is a wonderful dog! Loki is sweet and sensitive, if he thinks someone is frail or sad, he will stay by them to cuddle them. Loki loves walks and used to be a condo dog and has very good indoor manners and excellent bladder and bowel control. Loki will stand by the door if he needs to go outside to relieve himself. It took a while to get him to enjoy running around the backyard, but now he loves the yard, but prefers to be indoors. Loki loves his crate but will be in your lap fast if called or hears thunder or fireworks. Loki will do wonderful with a family or older person. Loki is just a happy soul that will make you smile every time you see his curly tail!

Sparkle Shot is a 4-year, 9-month-old wirehaired Chihuahua with a heart as bright as his name! This VERY happy little guy may be a bit shy at first, but give him just 2–3 hours and he’ll be completely smitten. Once he knows you’re safe, get ready for endless kisses, excited spins, and the cutest tail wags you’ve ever seen. Despite his affectionate nature, Sparkle Shot isn’t a Velcro dog. He’s confident and content lounging in his bed or happily following his doggy friends around when you’re busy. He doesn’t show stress when left alone—he’s simply a joyful, well-balanced pup who loves life. Sparkle Shot has a calm, mild temperament overall, with bursts of adorable excitement when greeting his favorite people. He absolutely adores other small dogs, so his ideal home would include a few furry companions to play and cuddle with. He has grown up with kids and does well with them of all ages. He has not been around cats to our knowledge. He is full grown and weighs just under 10 pounds. He’s doing well with house training—while he may need a little consistency with going potty outside every time, he uses potty pads perfectly. His teeth are currently nice and clean, and he did need a dental when he arrived, so routine dental care will be an important part of keeping his smile healthy in the years to come. If you’re looking for a sweet, happy boy who will shower you with love and thrive in a home with other small dogs, Sparkle Shot might just be your perfect match!
