Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Nessa - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! From the Urban dictionary, the word nessa is used for something that is so cool that cool just isn't cool enough. And let's just say I rock that name, I am one amazing little girl that is as sweet as I am sassy, snuggly with just a hint of feistiness! I'm somewhere around 3 years old. A great age for still being playful but out of the puppy destructive stage. There are some very beneficial bonuses for adopting a dog vs a puppy. We are fully grown, what you see is what you get. No wandering what we'll look like (and I must say still pretty adorable!) or how big we'll be. We don't need constant monitoring, and are out of the chewing everything in sight stage. Oh yeah and I'm also crate trained. I love my crate and will use it for my safe place to take naps or just chill. I am working on my house training and am getting the hang of going outside to potty. I've got the brains to go along with all this beauty and will have it down in no time. At around the 10lb range I'm a great size for going on neighborhood strolls, walks to the local coffee shop (could I pleeeease have a puppaccino!), going for nature walks, being your co-pilot on trips to town for errands or just trips to the park. It'd be great if we could make it the doggie park so I could play with all the friends I will surely make. I'm big enough for most adventures but also small enough I fit on just about an lap so there will always be room for you on the couch! I am good with people and the other foster pups. I haven't met any of those strange creatures y'all call a cat yet but with my size and sweetness, If introduced properly I should do fine with them too! I love my toys especially the squeaky ones. If you squeak my toy I will come a runnin'!! I'm an active girl that is always ready for an adventure and then equally ready for some snuggle time when the day is done! I came from down close to the TX/Mexico border and was being detained. I somehow misplaced my pawsport. But thankfully I was let out on account of my adorableness and my good behavior. A part of my parole was that I have a loving family and home to live. I'm hoping YOU can help me with this. All you need to do is fill out my adoption application and I'll take it from there!!.

Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Princess Sophia - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! The name Sophia comes from the Greek origin meaning 'wisdom'. I'm looking to be wise enough to recognize every opportunity that comes my way and a wise being doesn't look for the path to success, he paves it. And I'm hoping to pave that path right to your family!! I'm a precious princess that loves to be treated like royalty. I'm a little nervous at first meet but once you gain my trust I'm gonna be your bestest friend. I want nothing more then to be a part of my person's life. If you are on the couch I am too, if you're working in the yard I'll give you a helping paw, if you're cleaning house I'll very politely point out what to clean next, if you're running errands I'll be your co-pilot. I do ok with the other dogs as long as they don't play too rough or loud, then I tend to get a little scared. I would do best in a home with a retired person or someone that works from home and would also do best in a home without small kids, they also kind of make me scared and nervous. I haven't met a cat yet but with their princess like attitude we should probably hit it off famously. But if you're looking for a BFF that will follow you everywhere, this princess could be just right for you. I am house and crate trained which is a nice added bonus for my family. I'm also fully growed up and out of that puppy destructive stage. I am at my adult weight of just 4 whopping pounds! I may be little but I've got a heart the size of Texas! I'm really just a lap pup at heart and at my size I will fit on just about any lap and I don't take up hardly any room on the bed either (hint hint)! With my short beautifully colored coat I'm very low maintenance in the grooming department, making me more of a wash-n-to type of gal. And you DO know what that means don't you?!! Oh yeah, that gives lots of extra time for the both of us in the 'spoil me rotten' department!! Are you in need of a special girl that loves being treated like a princess? One that will be you sidekick whenever you go or whatever you do? Kisses, loyalty and tail wags will be given in return!!

Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Reba - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Reba here as in Reba McEntire. Pretty cool to be named after a singer as famous as her! But well 'Rumor Has It' that 'I'm a Survivor' too. I've just have to wander, 'Is There Life Out There?' I know that 'The Heart Won't Lie' and since you're reading this I won't have to 'Walk On' alone for much longer. My heart and soul will be mended with a loving family and home! I'm around 4 years old and let me tell you that is a fantastic age. I may not be all that 'Fancy' but I'm well behaved. still spunky and ready for adventures. But I'm out of the puppy destructive stage so if you happen to let your shoes out they will be safe with me. I'm a tad bit shy at first meet but a few kind words and gentle pets and I'll be your little shadow. I'm a people's dog that will follow you from room to room, outside to back inside. Lonely doesn't exist with me around, never being too far away. I am also house and crate trained (a very good bonus for a family) and I get on good with the other foster pups here that are calm, if they start playing too rough, I get scared. I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat but with my size and sweet nature and introduced properly I should do fine with them too! I would probably do better in a home without kids or with older dog savvy kiddos. At my 6lbs I'm at a great size for neighborhood or nature strolls, co-piloting town trips for errands, or trips to the park. I'm big enough for those adventures but small enough to fit on just about any lap which means there is a a ton of room on the couch or in the bed for everyone!! With my sleek shiny short coat I'm low maintenance in the grooming department making me more of a wash-n-to type of gal. Oh and you DO know what that means don't you? Oh yeah, that leaves lots of time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. That, for sure, is a win win for the both of us!!!! All this pawsomeness in this one little package. 'Love Will Find Its Way To You' if you just fill out my adoption application and it sure will also find it's way to ME! That's another win win so hurry up and fill it out!!

Toffee is made when you combine brown sugar and butter. Add brown and yellow and you get this beautiful shade of ME! Oh yeah and also a little bit sweet and a little bit smooth. Some guilty pleasure in every day without any of the guilt!!! How perfect is that?!! I'm somewhere around 3 years old. A great age for still being playful but out of the puppy destructive stage. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Ernest - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Ernest Goes To Jail, yes, to my embarrassment and dismay, I was found as a stray and spent some time in the doggie slammer. It seemed like forever!! But thanks to this rescue I got out on good behavior and am ready for that freedom ride! Yes, Ernest Rides Again!!! I'm just hoping your home is my last ride!! I have been working on the whole house and crate training thing and have got it down. I may have spent most of my life outside but I've caught on quickly. I coming to see that this whole living inside with a soft bed and a warm lap to lay on is pretty darn nice!! I would do best in a quiet adult only home. I'm needing my space but will come seeking companionship when I want it. Kinda like a cat in that sense. I do well with other dogs but would prefer a more mellow sibling that isn't too bouncy and constantly in my space. At 9 years and only 11lbs I would make a great family addition for someone that is looking for a great lil guy to chill with them. I'm already out of that destructive stage but still enjoy neighborhood strolls and catching some rays in the backyard. If you're looking for that needy pup that is always under foot seeking you attention, I'm not your boy. But if you want an independent lil guy that is just happy being in the same room, I might just be that lil man!! I would love to be your lil side kick....so what do ya say? Can I come home with you?!!

Story
Meet King! King was rescued from a bad hoarding situation in 2021. He has made incredible progress and has learned how to be a happy and confident dog. King is a chihuahua mix that currently weighs 20lbs. He a happy boy and has no interest in shedding his winter weight for the summer. We are not sure how old King is, but his facial hair is starting to lighten up. While in foster care, King has gone from hiding under the bed to actively seeking human affection. He does not mind the company of his other foster siblings and will seek them out for some play time. King has been working on his potty habits and will go outside when he is let out. He is not a barker but will squeak when he wants something. King generally prefers to be a couch surfer, but will go outside with his foster siblings. He also prefers comfy beds over toys, does not mind cars rides and does well with baths. If you are interested in meeting King, please complete an online dog adoption application at www.rescueahart.org
