Story
Hiya! My name is Buzz Pawldrin. I am a very layed back senior dog that is friendly. I am a little timid but once I smell you a little and have you pet me, then I am your best friend. I am blind in one eye but can see okay in the other eye. I do need a quiet place to live the rest of my years in. I do fine with other dogs, cats and kids who are well mannered. I will be looking for a home soon. I am hoping for my very own bed to lay in.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-6pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

Story
We adopted Patty about 4 months ago. He is a very very loving and sweet dog. However, he is just not very happy in our home. He gets in fights with our cat every day, and he also is very nervous around our toddler. He just doesn’t like the loud noises and crying that comes with being in a house with young children. He also did have an issue where he tried to nip at my son. We’ve tried to be very vigilant about setting boundaries with the two of them and making sure everyone stays safe but I honestly just think Patty could thrive in a different type of home. I really think he is just a sensitive dog that would do well in a home with older kids and no pets. If your looking for a small dog that will love you endlessly and cuddle with you Patty is your guy. He loves giving kisses and snuggling with you. He is amazing in his crate. He would love to sleep with you in bed but we taught him “go to bed Patty” and he sleeps in a dog bed next to us all night long and doesn’t make a peep.

Story
Sadie is a sweet friendly girl. She came to us when her owner could no longer care for her. She is good with cats and a little bossy when first meeting other dogs, but has been fine with a smaller dog here once they got to know each other. She is crate trained and goes outside well, but she does need a regular schedule and/ or frequent outside trips to help her be completely housetrained. She will use pee pads. Sadie will be spayed and ready soon, or we may consider a foster-to-adopt contract. Her adoption fee is $200 to cover her vetting. She will be vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms addition to being spayed. If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application.
