Story
☀️Dixie☀️🌻Dixie is a 1 year old chihuahua/rat terrier mix weighing 9 to 10 pounds. She came in with Bud, Trixie and her four 6 week old puppies. We are assuming Bud and Trixie are her parents. 🌻Dixie is potty trained but has not started crate training yet as she is still nursing her puppies and spending time with them. She is just fine with other dogs and cats. She has been around kids in her previous living situation but we are unsure how much they interacted with her. Dixie loves attention. 🌻Dixie is microchipped. She will be fixed, vaccinated and heartworm tested once she is finished nursing her puppies.Dixie will be ready for her foster to adopt home in a few weeks but we are accepting applications for foster to adopt for her now! Adoption will be finalized when all vetting is completed. If you are interested in fostering to adopt Dixie, please visit our website at www.pawsofadamscounty.com and submit an adoption application. When applying, please answer each question completely and honestly. Only complete applications will be considered. Story
Hi! My name is Dozer. I got my name by dozing past you when you open a door. I am very timid at this time. It takes me a while to warm up to you. I am just scared right now. I am sweet once I do get to know you. I do fine with other dogs. Kids over 12 would be better for me. Much younger kids will startle me and scare me. I can be tested around cats to see if I like them or not. Please take the time to know me. You may fall in love with me to make me feel safer. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-6pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.
