Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Chocolate is a little standoffish when it comes to meeting new people and it takes her time to warm up to new people and situations. Unlike most chihuahuas she's not much of a lap dog, but she will follow people from room to room in the house watching what you are doing and is content to sleep in a dog bed beside your bed. Chocolate could stand to lose about 8 pounds which her foster home has been working on. She is good with other dogs and cats, but would do best in a home with dogs her size or as an only dog as she tries to boss the large dog in the home around. Chocolate will sometimes resource guard her food bowl and her bed, but hasn't done anything beyond growling at others for getting near it. She and her sister were in a home where they had only used pee pads. Having arrived during our cold winter weather and snow, they have not been outside to potty train. She has never walked on a leash before so needs a home with a secure fence or a home where she can be allowed to use pee pads in the home.  Chocolate would be a good addition to almost any home. She has not been around small children so we are unsure of how she will do with them.  Estimated DOB:   01/04/2017 Adoption fee: $ 250 (6% KY sales tax included)  We would love to hear from you! Story
Say hello to Hepburn, the tiniest little movie star in the making! This adorable Chihuahua mix came to us with her equally cute siblings, and now she’s ready to steal the spotlight—and your heart—as she begins the search for her forever home. Hepburn is the perfect blend of spunky and snuggly. One minute she’s bouncing around with big puppy energy, chasing after toys or wrestling with her siblings, and the next she’s curled up on your lap, gazing up at you with those soulful eyes just waiting to be held. She's got a little sass, a lot of charm, and a heart full of love. This little lady is looking for a family that’s ready to take on all the joys (and chaos!) of puppyhood—think potty training, teething, and the zoomies at 10pm. She’ll thrive in a home that will socialize her, help her grow in confidence, and show her the ropes with kindness and patience. ✨ Hepburn's must-haves: A family ready for puppy adventures (and accidents!) Plenty of cuddles, soft blankets, and lap time Socialization and gentle training to help her blossom A sense of humor—because puppies are always full of surprises! Bonus: She’s got the kind of face you’ll want to take 1,000 photos of and send to everyone you know. If you’re ready to add some Hollywood-level cuteness to your life, come meet Hepburn! She's ready to bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love into your home. If you’re interested in adopting, our process begins with the submission of OUR online application at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com, or email us if you submitted an application within the last six months. We review and schedule meets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received. Keep in mind she is a young puppy with a life expectancy of up to 15 years. Our guiding principle for adoptions is to seek the right fit for family and for dog, including a home that can stay committed to her for life.

Story
Start spreading the news—Sinatra is ready to find his forever home! The only brother in a litter of darling diva sisters (Hepburn and Monroe, of course), Sinatra holds his own with charisma, confidence, and just the right amount of puppy mischief. This little guy may be small, but he’s got a big personality. He struts around like he owns the place (and honestly, with a face like that, he kind of does). Whether he's hamming it up for attention, chasing his tail like it’s a world-class performance, or snuggling in close after playtime, Sinatra is a total heart-stealer. He’s looking for a home that’s ready to roll with all things puppy: potty training, chew toy chaos, and learning the ropes of being a good little gentleman. With the right mix of patience, structure, and love, Sinatra is sure to grow into a loyal, loving, and entertaining companion. 🎙️ Sinatra's dream home includes: A family that’s up for puppy adventures and all the laughs they bring Socialization and gentle training to help him become his best self Plenty of affection and snuggle time (this crooner loves to cuddle!) Maybe a plush lounge spot for dramatic lounging between zoomies Sinatra’s got charm, he's got looks, and he’s got love to give. All he’s missing is a stage to call his own—and that stage could be your living room. If you’re interested in adopting, our process begins with the submission of OUR online application at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com, or email us if you submitted an application within the last six months.
