Meet Luna! Luna is a 4-year-old, 14 pound Chihuahua mix who was thrown out by her owners this past week along with another dog. After a bit of coaxing them as they were very scared and unsure, our staff were able to safely secure them. Luna seems to do well with everyone and loves attention. She does love her buddy Bowser she was dumped with, but they can be adopted separately. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Matilda is a senior lady looking for a soft spot to land for her golden years. We are unsure of her exact age as she was found as a stray covered in fleas with little to no hair. After months in foster care her skin is now healing and her hair is growing back. Matilda spends her days napping in your lap under a blanket or beside you in the floor on a dog bed. She prefers to be right in your lap. She is working on house training to pee pads. This little lady has bad hips knees and can not do steps. She only has a few remaining teeth. Matilda does have some mammary tumors that are not causing her any harm. Due to her age the vets feel it’s best to not put her under anesthesia at this time. Matilda did have some basic bloodwork done all of it came back in the normal range. Matilda can co-exist with other animals who will give her her space and who don’t run all around and pester her. She would do best with other kids due to her age and size. LES NESSMAN IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Les Nessman recently had his yearly. He lost one tooth but everything else looked great :) Donations are always appreciated! Les came to us a few years ago. He is a behavioral case. Les is unpredictable and he will bite. It is sort of surprising just how hard this little guy can bite at just under 7lbs. He bit through my husband's thumbnail. He also needs a quiet environment because if anything is going on outside, he tends to bark until he gives himself tracheitis. Over time we have learned when to jump. We know which muzzles work best and we have perfected the blanket scoop. For these reasons, we do not feel it is in his best interests to place him for adoption. Donations to maintain his care are appreciated. Even snarky little dogs need vet care and monthly preventions. TLC Rescue is a reputable, all volunteer 501c3.
