Whether he’s striking a pose on his favorite yellow blanket or leaning in for a close-up, Elvis knows how to work the room. But it’s not just good looks — this boy has a bubbly personality to match. He's the happiest little guy and always has a big smile on his face. Elvis is sweet, attentive, and loves being near his people. He’s the kind of dog who will look up at you like you’re the only fan in the crowd. He is playful but polite, and would likely enjoy cozy cuddle sessions just as much as short adventures. Elvis may be small, but his love is larger than life. He’s ready to trade the spotlight for a forever home where he can be your loyal sidekick, best friend, and number one fan. Loves other dogs and kids too. If you haven't seen the news lately (WKYT), Elvis is kind of a local celebrity. Showing up to tell the world about his great pals and temp home here at GAHS. Don't bother asking for an autograph though, as he much rather prefers pets and lovins. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.This little cutie is named Rosie.  She is an 18 month old chihuahua mix who is spayed and UTD on her vaccines.Rosie has a sweet disposition and likes being with her human.  She will follow you from room to room and is happiest sitting on your lap.  She is very alert to new noises, people and activity and will let you know about it (she is a little watch dog!)  Rosie is crate trained and sleeps throught the night in her kennel.Rosie has led a quiet/sheltered life, so many things are new to her.  She has learned to walk on a leash at the park while in foster care.  She is learning to ride in a car without shaking. Fast moving children still scare her.  Her foster Mom reports she 'moves like a streak of lightning', so she may not be a good choice for an elderly person.Full disclosure: House training is still a work in progress and she still likes to nibble on things like a puppy.Rosie is looking for a dog savvy family who will patiently work with her.  She has great potential to be a fantastic dog.  Are you up to the challange?  Rosie will love you with her whole heart if you are!!Adoption fee: $250 (to help defray vet expenses)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 26, 2026, 2:43 am
