She is an 18 month old chihuahua mix who is spayed and UTD on her vaccines.Rosie has a sweet disposition and likes being with her human. She will follow you from room to room and is happiest sitting on your lap. She is very alert to new noises, people and activity and will let you know about it (she is a little watch dog!) Rosie is crate trained and sleeps throught the night in her kennel.Rosie has led a quiet/sheltered life, so many things are new to her. She has learned to walk on a leash at the park while in foster care. She is learning to ride in a car without shaking. Fast moving children still scare her. Her foster Mom reports she 'moves like a streak of lightning', so she may not be a good choice for an elderly person.Full disclosure: House training is still a work in progress and she still likes to nibble on things like a puppy.Rosie is looking for a dog savvy family who will patiently work with her. This sweet girl does wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children over the age of 12. She is also house and crate trained, which makes her an easy addition to the right home.Maggie does have some barrier issues. When approached in her kennel, she may snarl — but this is simply her way of saying she feels nervous or overwhelmed in that setting. Outside of the kennel environment, she is a loving and gentle companion.
