Story
My name is Faith and I am a 7 year old, 10 lb. chihuahua. My foster mom says I'm such a little love bug. I was rescued from having to birth babies over and over but I never have to raise kids ever again. I'm enjoying all this attention I’m now getting. Little things make me so happy, like running around the back yard and snuggling next to my human on the couch. I am already crate trained and my foster mom says I’m doing very well with house training. I am also fine with the other dogs here in the house and when we’re outside, but when I'm cuddling my foster mom on the couch, I just want to have her all to myself and I make it known! Any other critters in my forever home would have to be good with that, however, I’ll accept all the love the big humans will give me all the time! I am up to date on vaccinations and will be spayed and microchipped by time of adoption. My adoption fee is $275. If you've been searching for a sweet little cuddle bug like me, you can apply to adopt me at www.rescueofhope.com. ##1831360##

Story
Buddy loves to have his person in his life that will pick him up, snuggle him, and who he can follow around the house. He also loves his dog brother from another mother Kobe, who has lived with him for several years. We would love to see them get adopted together if possible. Our rescue's mission is to assist terminally ill people with finding new families for their pets, and Buddy came to us after his owner passed away. He is 8 years old, fixed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and had full bloodwork. He is a healthy dog. He loves going on walks and can walk at least a mile. In his original home, Buddy loved playing toys and running with Kobe. He loves to look out the window in the car (a doggy car seat is perfect for this!) and loves to sleep under a blanket at night. He would love to find an adopter who wants him and Kobe and who was ready to shower him in love and attention. If you are interested in Buddy (and his brother Kobe) please email us at tysonsplacerescue@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application available at tysonsplacerescue.org - head to the adopt tab and scroll under the photos to see the questions.

Name: Master Breed Guess: Chihuahua Mix Age: 4 years old Gender: Neutered Male Weight: 14 pounds Shelter Temperament: Timid Children: Unknown Cats: Can be tested upon request Dogs: Meet and Greet Required Adoption fee: $350 Likes: Hot Dogs! Scratches in front of his ears Sunbathing Master is still learning to trust us, but with time, he has slowly come out of his shell. We are still learning about him with each day! The Animal Rescue Project (www.animalrescueproject.org) is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed. Adoptions are NOT first come, first served! We seek to choose the best fit for the approved adopter and pet. Please understand that these animals are still new to us and their needs and requirements can change at any time as we learn more about them. We will try our best to get them updated online as soon as possible. All dogs and puppies are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medication to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and ticks they may have. Dogs greater than six months of age are checked for heartworm. If heartworm positive, the Animal Rescue Project treats the disease. Dogs and pups receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, and dogs greater than four months of age are also vaccinated for rabies, in compliance with State of Michigan laws. All dogs are also microchipped. Most dogs and older puppies are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of puppies not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization. The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.
