Story
Roxie is a very sweet and lovable little dog! She is VERY smart and has always been easygoing. She is healthy for her age outside of the old age challenges, which are very minimal. She is vibrant, fun, and LOVES to cubble all day since getting older. She has her favorite pig toy and loves to play with it. I love Roxie with all my heart because of her human-like personality. However, unfortunately Roxie is not very good with children as she likes to not be bothered by them. Because of this her and my toddler cannot get along. Roxie is NOT violent but is more scared so she will bark at him and mostly try to stay out his way. But unfortunately he is too rough and intimidating for her. She is a very timid dog and has been since birth. She is in needs a loving home with that is quiet, simple, and catering. Her eyesight is not the best in one eye as she has developed a cateract. She has eye medication for it that she takes on a regular but outside of this she has no other challenges.

We found Maggie as an injured stray in 2014 and she has been loved by us ever since. She loves people and is not at all aggressive. She loves to snuggle but does not know how to play with dog toys. She does not like crates. Currently she is on two anxiety medications, trazodone and gabapentin. She would greatly benefit from an owner with a lot of affection to give, and she would do best in a home with no other pets.

We love Simba but my husband has a health issue due to his time working at the Nevada test site and it is a lung disorder. It has taken over our lives and the dog sheds. Even though he is small, he is young and has a lot of energy and I have had to quarantine him a lot since my husband's diagnosis. It isn't fair to the dog. He is trained to go outside to the bathroom with a doggie door but might need to be trained again in a home that doesn't have a doggie door. He is sweet and loves adventures in the car and outside. The other dog we own is hypoallergenic and they are really going to miss each other. They are inseparable. But we are willing to give both dogs if the owner wishes to keep them together. They really love each other. This whole thing just makes me sad and we really want Simba to find a new home with wonderful people who will really love him. He is not fixed. But he does have all his shots.

Happy is the definitely of a lap dog. You sit down and she wants to be on you lap, probably trying to lick your face. She's a purebred Pomeranian. Her name captures her personality very well. She's very Happy. She's 4 years old. She gets along with other dogs, likes going to the dog park. She's very smart and easy to train. She's very comfortable hanging out in her carrying case too. She weighs about 10 pounds, she loves to be picked up and carried around. I wish we could keep Happy but the reason we're rehoming her is because I got a job where I work away from home and taking care of our 3 year old daughter and two dogs is a little too much for my wife. I want to find her a good and loving home.

Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Nunez is about 3 yrs old and weighs about 14 lbs. His owner is needing to surrender due to working some nights and Nunez cries. Since he lives in an apartment he is getting noise complaints. Nunez is social but would need a home without shared walls. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Nunez, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Nunez into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply).
