Ramon was adopted by us in October 2011. He was a rescue dog from the Bay Area, 3 days away from being euthanized. He has been a huge part of our family ever since. His current living situation is not only hard on him but also on us as well. I work 10 hrs a day and he is left in an apt all day alone since my son moved out. It’s on the 2nd floor so going to the bathroom is hard on him going up and down the stairs constantly. He is a healthy senior, 17-18 yrs old but you would never know by looking at him. He still gets excited for food and going outside. He spins in circles every time you look like you’re getting ready to go outside. I had to make a hard decision (for financial reasons) to move to Arizona. The drive will be too long for him, so as hard as it is for me to let go, I know it’s what’s best for him. I want him to be in a home that will have the time and attention that he deserves. Ideally a home with a yard where he can sunbathe and live the rest of his life to the fullest.

Panini is a sweet, happy girl who absolutely lives for her people. When you walk through the door, you’d think you’ve been gone for years — her whole body wiggles with excitement and her joy is completely contagious.She can be a little unsure with new faces at first and may need a minute to warm up, but once she decides you’re a friend, she’s all in. And if you happen to have treats, you’ll win her over even faster. Panini is very food motivated, which makes training and bonding both fun and rewarding.Panini also happens to be a wonderful little adventure buddy. She rides great in the car, does well with cats and small dogs, and enjoys exploring the world around her. She’s currently working on her leash skills and making great progress every day.Panini does experience occasional seizures, but they are well managed with medication that costs under $20 per month. They are infrequent and don’t slow her down from living a happy, loving life.
