Story
Mucho Grande — Small Dog, Huge Heart!  When Mucho Grande first arrived at Manhattan ACC, his tiny body trembled with fear. Labeled “New Hope Only” for growling and snapping, this little 15-pound pup was simply terrified — a world that hadn’t shown him kindness left him unsure who to trust.  But thanks to love, patience, and a caring foster home in Binghamton, Mucho’s story is turning into one of hope. Bit by bit, he’s letting his walls down — trading fear for tail wags, and learning that gentle hands mean comfort, not harm.  Now just over 2 years old, Mucho Grande is blossoming into a sweet, loyal companion who just needs the right person to help him keep believing in the good. Once he knows you’re a friend, his heart opens wide — full of affection, devotion, and the cutest little snuggles you could imagine.  Mucho’s Perfect Home:  Best with dogs his own size (big pups can be a little scary)  Cat-friendly!  Best with older kids (15+)  Needs a patient, gentle person who understands that trust takes time Mucho may be small, but his heart is mighty — and he’s ready to find his forever person who will love him just as he is. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary.  Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies.  Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England.
