Story
Hi there, I’m Roscoe, a 16 pound gentleman with little legs, a bright spark, and a whole lot of personality packed into one very handsome black and white package. I’m 4 years old, housetrained, and I walk nicely on leash, which makes me a pretty easy little sidekick to have around. I also happen to be an excellent blanket burrower, so if you’ve got a soft spot for a dog who likes to tuck himself in and get cozy, we may be a perfect match. I’ve lived with two small dogs before and did well, and while I might grumble a bit when meeting unfamiliar dogs, but I'm not trouble after that. I’m feeling so much better these days and ready to enjoy life. I’ve got a sweet, spirited nature and a signature move that really seals the deal, I sit up on my hind legs and paw at the air when I want your attention. It’s my own charming little dance, and yes, I know it’s adorable. I’d love a home with someone who appreciates a dog with a bit of spice, a lot of heart, and plenty of love to give. Roscoe's adoption fee is $275. You can learn more about Roscoe and other dogs at Happy Bark by visiting www.happybark.org PA Kennel License 17445

Story
Hi there, I’m Asher, a gentle little gentleman with a soft heart and an old soul. I’m a super senior Chihuahua mix, just 12 pounds, and I’ve got that quiet, tender kind of charm that makes people want to protect me and give me a safe place to live out my golden years. Life feels a little blurry to me these days, and I may not hear so well either, so I can get startled if I’m caught off guard. Because of that, I take things slowly and would love a calm home where I can feel safe and understood. What you’ll get in return is an independent, easy-to-care-for companion, already house trained and very quiet. I’m the kind of boy who seems made for cozy routines, gentle company, and the simple comfort of being near my person. I’ve also passed my testing with both dogs and cats, which is lovely news for anyone hoping for a polite little friend who can fit into a home with other pets. If you have a soft spot for seniors, I just might be your guy. Asher's adoption fee is $275. Story
Extremely sweet and HUGE lap lover. She is a little timid when first meeting new people but warms up quickly. She is much more fearful of men and takes longer to feel safe around a man. She will need patience and understanding while transitioning to a new home. She is only 10 pounds! She has never been separated from her sister "Minnie," and they love to play and snuggle together. Please consider adopting them as a pair. Story
Application Link: https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/ARH-A-310 Adoption fee is $360 All dogs are fixed, up-to-date on age appropriate shots and micro-chipped. Hank the tank is a shy, reserved boy. He has really come out of his shell since joining us here at ARH. He came with 5 other chi mixes from a terrible situation in upper KY. The group was found in an shed, no light, no water, some gross food and feces on the floor. The shelter they ended up in was a high kill shelter and taking in 6 dogs at once in an already overcrowded shelter landed them immediately on the euthanasia list. They are all doing great, are good about going in the crate and housetrained.
