Story
Sadie is about 13 years old. I believe she is a chihuahua-pug mix, perhaps also with some beagle & other breeds. Sadie loves people and is happy to meet new human friends, but she does not like young children so needs to be in a home with pre-teens, teenagers, or no children. She also does not like anyone invading her personal space around her face. Sadie enjoys walks, car rides, and adventures; she is starting to slow down on walks though. She has seen a vet annually to maintain her vaccinations and health checkups. She does have occasional anal gland issues; I give her Vetnique Glandex Anal Gland Soft Chew Treats (cut up & mixed in her kibble). She also gets itchy; I give her Native Pet Dog Allergy Chews.Sadie is reactive towards other dogs. She lives with cats but does not like them getting close to her.

Hi, I’m Deb, a tiny little lady with a wise face, a quiet soul, and just one tooth left to show for all my life experience. I’m 10 years old, only 8 pounds, and I have that lovely talent some dogs have of making themselves right at home without asking for much. I’m very laid back, happy to do my own thing, and I do not believe in unnecessary drama. I’ve been friendly and easygoing with both dogs and cats, and when I met a bigger dog, I simply minded my business and carried on with my day. That is very much my style. I’d be a wonderful match for someone who loves the softer side of companionship, the kind that doesn’t demand the spotlight but is always a sweet presence nearby. I recently had some vet care, including the removal of an oral tumor, and I’m feeling much better with that behind me. What I’m looking for now is simple, a kind home, a comfy spot to rest, and a person who will appreciate a gentle little dog with a calm heart. I may be small, but I have the kind of steady charm that makes people fall in love. Deb's adoption fee is $225. Extremely sweet and HUGE lap lover. She is a little timid when first meeting new people but warms up quickly. She is much more fearful of men and takes longer to feel safe around a man. She will need patience and understanding while transitioning to a new home. She is only 10 pounds! She has never been separated from her sister "Minnie," and they love to play and snuggle together.
