Hosy is a lovable puppy, she is cute and fun to be around with. She sleeps with our daughters, and they love her dearly. We are going back to our home country, so we want to make sure Hosy finds a new home with people who love her. She is well-trained for potty time. If she wanted to go potty, she would signal us by standing by the door or you could tell from the way she bends her body like she is holding something that needed to pass out. Because I work from home, I typically take her out the in the morning, at noon, and in the afternoon for pee and poo, and one more time before going to sleep if it is not too cold outside. But even two times a day is fine. When there is no other dogs around, we would let her run around in the big park unleased.

Meet Sprite! Sprite is a sweet little dog. He enjoys hanging out with our shelter staff, receiving treats, and going for walks! You can typically find this little guy soaking up the sun outside cuddle up to a staff me member or volunteer. This cutie also enjoys working on his skills. Sprite currently already knows how to sit! He is a very smart boy. To keep himself entertained, Sprite enjoys playing with small plushies. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Mr. Poppy This adorable little fella is a spitfire to say the least. He came from a hoarding situation with a lot of other dogs. When he came in he was petrified. We took in several dogs from this home and with each drop-off... they told us these were the last dogs in the home. The dogs were not handled much and he will still run from you if he feels threatened or knows you want to put him in his crate. He can be crated and should be when you are not home, but he really doesn't care for it. Mr. Poppy will require a home with at least one other smaller to medium sized pup or a home where his people are home more often than not. He prefers adults and is what we call our "Parrot dog". He is happy to be laying with you, in your lap, or lounging on your shoulder watching tv. He does currently sleep in bed with his foster mom and dad, so he will need a home where this is ok and furniture is not off-limits. We would suggest a home that is not extremely active as he is reactive to strangers when they first come into the home. He does not do well on car rides, so he will be happy to just hang out at the house with you, rather than going on trips to the store, etc. We are recommending no children under 15 for this little guy. He wants to be the only "kid" in the house. If having a companion who thinks you are his world is what you are looking for and are willing to deal with his limitations, then Mr. Poppy is your boy! When applying to adopt through ODAAT, please know that we take pride in placing our animals appropriately based on their needs and personality. We want the best family for them and the perfect fit for your family. All applications are ran prior to choosing an adopter... This process takes time and we do not adopt out on a "first come first served" basis.
