My sister originally had the dog, but she wasn’t able to keep him while in college. With no one else able to take him in at the time, I stepped up so he’d have a safe place. It’s been almost a year now, and as much as I care for Pinto, my lifestyle just isn’t fair to him in the long run. My sister also won’t be in a position to have a dog for a few more years. Cricket and her mom Ladybug (also adoptable!) were dumped in the street in the middle of the night and discovered by one of our team members, who quickly scooped them up. They both likely suffered abuse and neglect in their previous home, but are starting to realize it's only the good life ahead! Cricket is 11 months old and 6 pounds of 100% love. While she is still extremely timid and a little skittish, she can be silly and loves to play with doggie friends both big and small. When she wants to play, she is a jumping bean of energy! Once she feels safe with you, she will seek out attention and cuddles, especially if she has a doggie friend to show her that the only hands that will pet her from now on are gentle, kind ones. Cricket's ideal home is with someone(s) who works from home and understands that it could take months to bond and build trust and confidence. Her ideal person is also patient and can take her out often to reinforce potty training. (She successfully use potty pads in the house.) Please note that children under 12 will be too much stress for her. She will thrive in a calm, quiet and patient. Cricket is crate trained (it's her safe place!) and leash trained, and she has been spayed and vaccinated. All she needs now is a forever family who will give her all the love she deserves and help her forget her traumatic past! Could it be you?

**The first step to adopting from MO Min Pin Rescue, is to complete the online adoption application. A good vet reference and heartworm prevention are required. We do not arrange transport, and you will be responsible for coming to us to get your dog. Cheeto is located in San Antonio, TX. He loves everyone. He may be shy at first but once he settles in, he will go for hours. He loves to play, his favorite game is fetch. He will let you throw a toy or ball for HOURS. He is a great little snuggle buddy as well. He will do best with an active home and older kids that won’t be too rough with him. He gets along with dogs and cats. His previous home did not potty train him so we are working on that. He does NOT mark at all and he will go potty outside. He does best when you are out with him to ensure his baby brain focuses 😂 He is crate-trained and will stay in a crate while his foster mom is away. Because he is so curious and mischievous for a baby, he isn't allowed to roam around unattended. No toy is safe. This kid is a great little boy and will make a perfect companion for someone! Neutered and fully vetted, including vaccinations and microchip. He is located in San Antonio, TX. His adoption fee is $300.
