Story
Star, a 5 year old, female Chihuahua and Groot, a 4 year old, male Havanese/Yorkie are tightly bonded and must be adopted together. They were turned into the shelter due to an owner hospice situation. They only stayed in the shelter for a couple of days before they were transfered to rescue. These two dynamic duoes are so loving to all that meet them and to each other. It's such a joy to watch them do the "Zoomies" around the fenced in yard and rumble & tumble as they play together. They do have their calm moments as well, as they snuggle and sleep together. They are healthy, spay/neutered, up to date on their rabies and distemper vacinations, microchipped, and their blood analysis is good. These two will bring a smile to your face as you watch them carry on and play; and the kids will love them as well; all growing up together. Instint Family Pets, Instint Joy, and Instint Love. Story
Naga is said to be a 12 year old Chihuahua mix but he acts much younger. When you look at him and his pointed ears, it reminds us of a Schipperke dog breed mix but we are not sure. What we do know is little 12 pound Naga is a great dog that loves the company of his people. He is very smart and is all about making you happy. He is a healthy little boy that came to us when their owner had to go into an assisted living facility. They took very good care of their pets. Nala is very quiet and he likes to sit next to you during TV time. He sleeps through the night and knows to do his business outside. His only wish is to find that special person to fill the void in his life and to give him the love and companionship that he misses.

Story
Pepe is a sweet and spunky little guy bursting with love and energy. He is incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention. He will happily be your shadow, cuddle buddy, and walking partner. Whether it is playtime with toys, outdoor walks, or cozying up on the couch, he is always eager to be part of the action. He is great with kids and absolutely loves people. However, he adores being the center of attention and can get a bit jealous if other pets steal the spotlight, so he may do best as the only pet, or in a home where he can still get plenty of one-on-one love. He’s 16-month old male Chihuahua mix, and around 7 pounds. He’s friendly, affectionate, and full of personality. He’s also up to date on his vaccinations and in good health.

Story
CHICO IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!   Chico is easily the sweetest fun-loving dog ever. He is happy-go-lucky, he is extremely smart and is eager to please his human. He is about 8-10 years old and 13lbs. Chico loves to cuddle with his person. He knows sit, come, back, find “whatever you ask him”. Chico is house trained and crate trained. He recently had a dental. Chico is a good eater. He is polite and loves meeting new people. Chico was an only dog in his original setting, walked into his multi dog foster home and immediately became the cruise director. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes. His favorite foster sibling are the pretty larger females! Chico is crate trained and house trained. He sleeps with his foster mom or in his open crate – his choice. Chico loves lap time. The best home for Chico will have a secure fence. Kids over 10 and with excellent doggy manners would be okay. Another well temperamented dog would be fabulous. An excellent history of vet care for current or previous pets is required. Previous specific breed experience will be given preference. He is fully vetted including spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Chico up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Chico here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 1:30 pm

This sweetie is being fostered in East TN Athebs area. Out of state welcome. The adoption fee listed here on Adopt a pet includes the cost of transport. We use Rescue Riders for our pet transport needs because they are the best. Meet Pete! This little guy is super sweet once he gets to know you. He takes a little bit to warm up to new people. He eight years young. He’s active and spunky and also loving and sweet. He is good with most other dogs. No small children for this guy. He needs his space to be respected and most young children don’t understand this. Unsure about cats. His vet records show him as a French bulldog mix. He could be a chihuahua and frenchie mix. He is 16 lbs. he will need a family that understands the breed mix and how to show rules and boundaries without rules and boundaries he will take charge and be your leader and that is not what you want he needs to know you are his leader and you will take care of him. Story
Osito is an 8-year-old Chihuahua with a big personality packed into a tiny frame. He’s a little slow to warm up, but once he trusts you, he’s smart, affectionate, and even knows a few tricks! Osito gets along well with other dogs and cats, but would prefer a calm, quiet home without young kids.Like many Chihuahuas, he has strong opinions and isn’t afraid to share them—he wears his heart on his sleeve! He’s a lap dog, but only when he decides it’s time for cuddles. Osito has a sensitive tummy and will need to stay on a special diet for life, but he doesn’t let that slow him down. He’s just looking for a peaceful forever home where he can sunbathe, nap, and enjoy life on his own terms.
